Today, we will be taking you to the hub of Buddhist religion and Tibetan art & culture in Eskdalemuir in southwest Scotland- Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery.
Located about 2 hours drive from Glasgow, this monastery was established in 1968 and the first of its type in the West and was named after Samye, the very first monastery in Tibet.
It's open all year round for visiting and offers range of activities like yoga, meditation and various courses on mindfulness. It can simply be one of your weekend tours for peace and tranquility to get relief from the stress of the busy week.
