Peace be upon you. Just finished the whole thing and I have to say I am impressed. This world needs more teachers like you. May Allah bless you and help you spread knowledge.
Personally, my reason is that I am a physics teacher. And I believe this tool will be useful in my classes. Not only am I interested in C++ but also in Phython.
Python has many open source libraries that are amazing for the sciences. Plain old C goes very well with Python as many of the libraries in Python are written in C. Though I am learning C++ so that I can simulate the solar system using Unreal Engine.
I've been salesman last 7 years, so my reason for learning programming is that I got tired of working with people, now I wanna work with computers instead and realize my childhood dreams about being that clever computer guy. Edit: I have been studying C# & Unity last 6 months in school now, and I will be working on my first game engine project next 4 weeks. Being with other students, exchanging ideas, learning and teaching each other, feeling stupid and learning something new almost everyday. This is the way now. @CodeBeauty Thank you

I am not saying this to deflate your ambitions to learn you totally should being a dev is an awesome career but to just give you some perspective about your future career. I was in sales and became a professional developer about 10 years ago and thought I would escape working with people and I was wrong - working as a developer still requires you to work with other people A LOT, collaborating with other developers, project managers, product owners and often times with customers. Best of luck with your journey.
Yeah, as someone who works in Tech I also agree with Scott. You need to work with other people a lot in tech and honestly, some of them are pretty antisocial. So the best devs are those that are both good with tech and good with people because then they can get the best out of both. There is very few jobs where you will not be working closely in a team. Although this said, if you play your cards right you should not have to deal with the public, which is nice aha.
@@sdever This might have been true in 2019 but in 2021 its work at home and collaborate online. There's zero reason for us to have to step into an office space.
I just completed watching the full ten and a half hour video. Just wanted to say thank you. Thanks for allocating time and effort to helping others learn a new skill that could potentially impact their entire future. As a high school student who has been trying to scoop up the motivation to learn, the intro was helpful and motivating. The course was thorough and clearly explained. I can see this as the start of my future in programming, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who can say that. So, from the bottom of my heart, I wanted to just thank you.
If this video reaches only one person and really helps her/him I'll be happy and it will be worth the effort! Since the first day that I entered this industry, I couldn't understand people who were using their knowledge as a way to mock or laugh at someone who is just starting. There are truly intellectual bullies in this industry. And by intellectual bullies I mean people who are indeed smarter and have more knowledge, but they use that knowledge to be dismissive, disrespectful, mean, or emotionally abusive towards those who know less. Some people are not good at explaining, or they don't have time, and that is okay. But if someone is using his knowledge to make someone else feel bad or not smart enough, that person should not be promoted as a positive example, no matter how much he/she knows! I don't lose anything by sharing my knowledge. I'm not afraid that I'll be less valuable if someone else knows more. Moreover, if everyone else is better than me, that just makes me want to learn even more. And if I'm going to reach anyone who is starting in this industry, I'd love that person to know that it's okay to struggle and fail. Everyone who is great failed at one point, so don't let anyone/anything discourage you from reaching your dreams! If indeed this video reaches a lot of people, I'd love them to read this comment more than anything else!
@@TroenderTass In life, there are people who find happiness only in the smile, the joy and the success of others. And CodeBeauty is one of them. These are qualities that are very difficult to grasp nowadays: The tendency is to gain; By doing this, what do I gain? ... But she, on the contrary, adjusts her time to assist others; She understood that there is more happiness in giving than in receiving. This is precisely why I say that she is exceptional.
@@CodeBeauty oh he doesn't want to explain me this stuff and making me feel stupid - he's intellectual bully!!! Not here to learn C++ as I've been a developer for 40 years, but I've found its ALWAYS a good idea to watch videos like this. Well done on a very well presented video.
I just want to thank you. I studied the entire video to the end, made every app, tried every exercise, and made notes. I admit it took me about 10 days, taking breaks between lessons because I have a job and family. I had zero knowledge of programming or C++ at the beginning, and although I don't imagine I'm ready to start making amazing programs yet, I have a working ATM app and BMI calculator and everything else you taught us to make. I already have a career and don't plan to become a programmer, but I wanted to see whether I can learn to program and make something useful. Now I will look for how to continue my studies, but I'm very grateful to you for helping me start. Thank you very much.
There are so many languages you could have learned that would have been 10 times more accessible than C++ which in monstrously cryptic and un-necessarily complex. If you had watched a BASIC tutorial you WOULD be writing amazing programs after 10 hours.
So, I just started my computer science major two semesters ago, and last semester we were introduced to C++ and I was almost pushed to tears because our 'professor' wasn't helping me at all. EVERYONE else except me seemed to already have learned coding before and the teacher knew this and told us to 'help each other", which unfortunately no one did. I felt like getting into computer science simply because I love video games and wanted to learn and work in that sector was a huge mistake. So here I am, trying to learn c++ programming from scratch from a kind soul like you who are creating better help than college proffersors. I'm planning to watch do this course over a month and give myself time. That was a long comment lol but just wanted to Thank you again!

You will pass next time. I find that getting the area of focus from your school and then looking for videos online related to that subject is best practice. School professors are knowledgeable but aren't always the best teachers. Find a video source that works for your learning style. You have already taken a big step by coming here! Good luck!
These 10 hours of videos are more helpful than a 16 week college course that i took on C++. You're truly a remarkable teacher and you've erased all the frustration that i was experiencing with learning this language. I have tried to learn C from tutorial videos for years, but I couldn't concentrate and follow through to the end, but when I first saw your video and how you expressed it clearly and without borders, relatively fast and with good example, I was excited. I was struck and turned into a basic C language subject. I understood well and easily. Thank you very much for your efforts in the advancement of science and service to humanity. I am praying for you, O God. With his permission. I wish you health and success. Also, thanks to your respected family and teachers who taught you. And I am also proud of the place where you grew up. This is amazing for new beginners to C++ programming. I did a bit of C, C++ and Java many years ago at uni and I just brushed through to pass the subjects but never really understood them much and had no much interest as a result. But I have decided to revisit and renew the interest and this is great stuff. Really appreciate your time and the fact you explain the details... up to 'Conditional if-else' so far and going slow and doing all the tutorials and even expanding on them. Thanks a lot.
Why revive a nightmare? I was forced to use C/C++ for about 12 years by various employers. Now I'm free to do more or less whatever I want though. So the programs I actually still design are written in my own high level language, far from the "== && | | ++ - -" syntax and error prone semantics of C/C++.

Well I had no knowledge in c++ when I started my master thesis this year in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics. I had to use c++ for a certain software. It was ridiculous as I had no idea what was happening and what each of the lines meant. It took me a while to understand since I had some knowledge in python. Luckily my teammate had some knowledge and were able to finish it in time. That is why I am here to learn c++ so that I can understand completely what I did in the my thesis.

Actually, a lot of people hate that "clever computer guy", they also hate most salesmen.
This is precisely why I say that she is exceptional.

what should we do to properly learning, go to uni?

Your experience seems a lot more realistic than 10hrs. Thank you!

9:34:26 My solution for returning min and max values from a function using a class instead of pointers:
class min_max {
public:
int min;
int max;
};
min_max Find_MinMax(int numbers[], int size, class min_max) {
min_max temp;
temp.min = numbers[0];
temp.max = numbers[0];
for (int i = 1; i < size; i++) {
if (numbers[i] < temp.min)
temp.min = numbers[i];
if (numbers[i] > temp.max)
temp.max = numbers[i];
}
return temp;
}
int main()
{
min_max set;
set.min = 0, set.max = 0; //was getting a warning about having to initialize these, so set to zero
int numbers[5] = { 2, -5, 30, 42, -8 };
set = Find_MinMax(numbers, 5, set);
cout
Is there a reason you need to pass in a min_max to the find function? Your creating a new one anyway

I'd really love if you could make a video where we could actually build a real application from scratch up to where we make it available to users. That's what I actually want. It will help me with more insights. Thank you!
I am enrolled in a 5 week c++ programming class which started 2 weeks ago, at first I was very optimistic about this and I got my hopes high and believed that I can do it no matter how hard and challenging this course will get but after the week I started losing my hope progressively now I am at week 3 of the course and I feel like only a miracle can help me to figure everything out and pass this class because the programming assignments are getting progressively harder every and I my struggle of figuring out of writing the correct program gets worse and worse every week as a beginner in computer programming major.
Hi Saldana, Nice video, I have many books on coding especially C++. Anyway I am a retired IT and learning C++ has been one of my personal goals to strengthen my knowledge around it now that I have more time to practice. I am a little versed in python but enough to truly feel I’ve mastered it and really looking forward to seeing your videos! Hence, I am now subscribed!!
The code is as beautiful as the presenter!!!! Greetings from Greece!!! Your presentations sum up the art of science: making complex things look simple and demystify them (talking about the pointer videos)...
I am involved with java but i believe it will be beneficial content for me to watch this tutorial in order to have insight. Thank you for the content.
Hi! I'm just starting the video.
I am a technical artist working in mobile VR games industry. I use Unreal Engine everyday and have some experience in C++ although my main bread and butter is in modeling and utilizing the visual programming systems (blueprints). However, I need to use C++ on occassion and wanted to gain a broader understanding from a programmer's point of view. This comment will be the beginning of my journey through the video. I will add others as I go along :)
I want to gain problem solving skills with programming as well as do projects, be happy, and change the world
I want to learn coding to make my life and whom I care about better in the future, thanks for your time.
kindly check the details
In your While Loop part 2 you was adding an if condition to check if there was a negative number entered.
Another way of solving that is to have the condition (number != 0) in the while loop.
Thanks for a great course!!
8:40:30 The best explanation that have ever seen. Very clear and short explanation without any unnecessary words. Probably going to use this video with my team. THANK YOU!!! God Bless You!
your explanations and examples are so helpful and you make it so easy to understand. there was not one single moment of confusion and that's very rare for me. thank you!!
🥰😘😘
@@CodeBeauty can i also get one kiss😅😂
The reason why I want to learn programming is to make it my hobby and acquired it as my skill.
Thank you for this very helpful list of tutorials. Is a great start for me
As a professional senior and lead software engineer in the mobile space, I'm here not to learn how to program but hopefully just to refresh my C++ skills.
I recently decided that I wanted to move from mobile, where I've been for the last decade. More than a decade actually into video game engines and physics.
I just need a refresher and basic C++ and I've always enjoyed your channel so that's why I'm here.
I am programming because just the thought of being able to make a game is just unbelievable and mind blowing.
You are easy to follow and learn from young professor lady! And fun, also.
