Yeah my thoughts exactly. The Voice Acting hadn’t really impressed me that much, especially Alphen, who got that “incredibly frustrated and intense” voice too much for my liking, but this scene left me with chills.
For those who may be curious who the voice actually is, its person named Katelyn Gault.
I was actually surprised at how good she was during this scene. She didn’t show anything like this in any scene she was in before this

Dohalim must be a Rays player, he knows that the best way to play is to spam MAs.
It's also a good way to tie-in how out of control he was; what better way to show people losing it than to having them throwing out their strongest attacks with no real rhythm or reason
Thats like every boss in this game tbh I had the light lord spam indignation on the last bits

I actually struggled to fight against dohalim even in normal mode. Then I realized that I didn't utilize Kisara's shield properly which leads to my team members getting instant KOs every time he performed his charge attack.
Did too. Had increased aggro on alphen and high defense on Kisara so thay my casters can focus on healing and spells. Tho I ran out of items on that fight too and Dohalim had too many rush attack skills not enough time to fill Kisara's boost break

I didn't stop trying until I could do the fight without using a life bottle on my primary character on Hard.
Great practice for learning how to play Kisara. Now she's my favorite character. Once you learn t0 abuse her counter parry on Dohalim's charge, the only difficult part is the very end, where his combos chain into each other, and only if you get greedy and try to go for perfect guards on every attack.
Difficult to learn, amazingly fun to master.

Getting dark pretty much makes stories good for some reason.

I think having your village burned down and subsequently finding yourself being helped by a dying mother in Phantasia was the second-most disturbing thing for me.

I mean Berseria's Prologue ? Where Velvet get betray by the man she trusted the most who sacrifice her little Brother right in front of her turn her into a demon, she then slaughter other demons, only to realise all these Demons were the villagers she was living with and to get throw in jail from years.... Yeah that was one hell of a ride.

What are you suppose to when starts dashing? I can dash the attack just fine but it just wipes out my team mates
Use Kisara's boost attack to stop Dohalim's dash and knock him down
Use Kisara's shield boost attack. she'll stop him

My AI companions don't dodge, in this video AI Alphin dodges every mystic art, when I play this fight each mystic arts kills one or two AIs of my party... How do I get them to dodge, I even tried disabling all active artes... not even then will the AI dodge AoEs...
So HOW did you get them to dodge the Dohalim mystic arte!?!
I simply cannot beat him without KOs :(((
A little bit Late but If you Put a strat in def mode they Block and Dodge
One good way to survive mystic artes is to quickly change strategy to tell your allies to do nothing when you see it coming. They will literally do nothing but become dodge machines. Outside of mystic artes you can also restrict the use of lengthy artes or close range artes by ally AI so they won't be hit during animation or run straight into an AOE.
