    He's is a great bodybuilder of-course. I find his videos very positive, uplifting, humbling, honest, and simple yet classy. He comes across as someone naturally charismatic, real and quite funny. The team making his videos is doing a great job. Excellent camera work, great audio and just top quality work. I really look forward to Nick's videos.

    I agree with your stances on deload. For example, if I deadlift and I hit a new personal record either with reps or weight and my body feels destroyed, I’ll just make a conscious decision to remove them completely from my routine for 1 week. I do feel like my body recovers a lot better by just removing it for a week compared to just doing a lighter version of my deadlift.

    deloads suck man, was pushing my body really hard for a long time then last week i took a deload week for my 4 training sessions and did every working weight -20% and 1 set less from each exercises and yesterday was my first normal day again and boom had pr´s on every movement i felt great and the pump was insane.
    nobody wanna do less weight then normal when going to the gym but sometimes its nessecary i think going to the gym but train less intens is better then taking a full week off because youre still doing the movements and getting blood in the muscle

    Dear Nick Walker,
    the easiest Way to get first or second Place at the O for you would be to become so good at Vacuum that you can pose it like a Classic Physique. If you can do all this stuff every Day multiple Times, drinking lots of Water after Waking etc, then you sure can muster the discipline for a little vacuum training. Do them before the first meal, breathing out, let your PT loosen up your transverse abdominis and you will see success in a week at most. Its the best counter to an increasing waistline there is for someone who has to eat that much, period.

  • @samratnarayandasmukharji604

    Sharing my observation as a fan. Jay cutler does a sort of a "double stretch" at the bottom of every repetition. According to research, the stretch is more important than the contraction for muscle growth. Ironman pof training system was the first to break down this technique. The used a contracted position exercise to squeeze the muscle (leg extension). They used a midrance (squat) exercise to overload the muscle and see tretch position exercise (non lock hack squat) to stretch the muscle. Ur tips are great. Thank u. God bless.

    What you said about not going so hard on upper body and leading to bigger size as opposed to lower body, I'm curious what the effects on healing would be using muscle relaxants strategically in conjunction with the other cycles
    Edit:I looked into it a bit, I think CBD oils would be the answer

    • @sw-gz9ps
      @sw-gz9ps Рік тому

      just because a muscle is relaxed does not mean it is recovered.

      further you do not want to use any anti inflammatory products if your goal is hypertrophy. There are many studies on painkillers reducing strength and size adaptation and more recently studies have come out on ice baths and cold plunges, showing how they cause decreases in strength and size adaptations. Inflammation is a necessary part of muscle building when utilized appropriately.

    • @spencerc32
      @spencerc32 Рік тому

      @sw-gz9ps that's what I found as well, but CBD oils overall I think would be worth it.

    Following the RP style model, you already get to do sets to complete failure once every 4, 5 or 6 weeks depending on how your training block is set out. The earlier weeks are like 3 RIR, but as you get to the end of the training block before deloading, the last week is supposed to be 0 RIR - so complete failure.
