Kviden, watched this video 1000 times and played around with the layout. Got more forges inside and moved the preserve bin between the vaults and with acess through the roof. The base requires metal so i went heavy with the forges and got a cage inside for a achatina or beetle too. Still, cant figure how to stack double doors, only normal ones. Anyway, your design is AMAZING and is my new to-go build. Your tutorials are by far the best out there. Cheers

Thank you that was exactly what i was looking for. I have 1,2k hours in ark pvp and still didnt know about that bear trap trick. You can actually cramp 4 forges in one trap which saves an insane amount of space :)

You can also build a couple of just structures around your base with turrets on them as well just for extra protection they have to get through those 1st b4 getting to your base.
I'm not sure if this is known, and I've not seen it done often before, but when you use a cliff platform on a ledge or something then use 4-high walls you can clip the top 3 walls into natural ceiling, walls,... So you can seal of a base entirely without having to build a roof and use the natural ceiling Now I suppose this is easier to undermesh but yea nothing can account for that

Found a small hidden base location behind a waterfall. It can only fit a 2x2 foundation but you can build a lot of walls up. I’ll use this design with a few modifications and then Stack more stuff on top.

However the side that’s hanging over the edge doesn’t have the space to place a foundation to double the walls. Is there another way to layer the walls on the side hanging over the edge? Thanks

Nah, pillars in the corners don't actually provide support to the roof and they kinda just get in the way of the turrets and cause line of sight issues. As for the cable lines you can just place one outlet and it shouldnt be so bad lol I threw down like 4 of them and each outlet connected to all the crafting stations so it made a lot more of those annoying lines than needed
Is there really any point in double walling the entire base when theres just two doors? Had to teach my clan about this in conan exiles. They would do the wall stack method to have 10 walls crammed together but also just 10 doors . . . Theres no point in having as many walls as doors they're going through the weak doors every time. I made them start expanding the doors out and in to have twice as many as the walls. I mean its 4 c4 to get in that base with two doors why double up the whole thing?
depending on where your built someone may see a chance to flak run one of the other sides due to line of sight, having double walls is just an extra level of protection from things like that
I noticed you often put the walls up after laing down stuff like the chem bench or fabi... wouldnt it make your life easier if you put the walls first then add the stations? that way you know how far you can place the station without clipping into walls?
I like how some of these people don't see how this isn't suppose to a base that's meant to be spotted...its suppose to be hidden as best as possible while still providing some defense in case it is ever found. You gotta be special to use this base out in the open where it can easily be spotted. Btw can you share the location to that little cave area you used in this video at 1:40 (great video as always 👍)
Ohhh yeah dude, I've got like 80 hours in it and beaten 2 of the 4 routes(blue lions and black eagles with Edelgard, doing golden deer right now). I was super suspicious of the whole Hogwarts part but its actually been really fun. It might even be beating out the Tellius games as my favorite fire emblem :D
Definitely worth it if you like Fire Emblem. I've already gotten my money's worth and haven't even beaten all the houses. Probably my favorite game in the series now :)
Another great video. Do you know the north east bear cave on the center? It's the one with the crawl space. It would be really cool to see what you could do with that space in a PvP scenario. Keep up the great content!
Just put those forges outside the base at a good distance to prevent people from using them has a hide from the turrents, but just the correct distance so you will be still protected by the turrets or you can run back to your base in case something happends. Those 2 forges inside the base are for using when you do a final metal run before going to sleep, and you wake up the other day with plenty of metal, with those 2 is enough.

yup, the 4 high walls are pretty cool, they only have a hitbox for the first wall and the three above it can clip into anything :D
