Hey Fooster.. I have to share a story with you. In 1994, I worked as a security officer at a casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. Casinos were new for our area and the law stated ALL casinos must be and can only be located on water. Biloxi, like many other areas all along the coast had the saltwater off the beach and freshwater in the inner-coastal aka bayou. The Isle of Capri casino was on the beach and it was on three barges moored down tightly but it can go up and down with the tide, naturally. I was the new guy and quite honestly I only took the job in hopes to move over in the company to become a card dealer, which was allowed. After all the training, getting uniforms, "new hire" non-dis closer paperwork, etc., they showed me where the post the work schedule and who's assigned where on each shift. As they were writing my name on the white board, I noticed I was being assigned Post 7 every day. At the time, I was 24 and have had my share of being "the new guy" so I immediately thought that it was obvious the most hated post to be assigned to on any shift. I didn't know how right I was about to be. I will be working 6 nights a week from 11pm to 7am. The pay was good and I could receive tips from guests, if they were so inclined. Not to mention, security didn't have to "pool" their tips and share with everyone else on the same shift like dealer had to do. But I digress, if you can imagine looking at the casino from above (North, South, East and West, of course), the two smaller barges connected to each other short end to short end and was located East of the much larger main casino barge. The main barge was the same size as the other two and there were two levels for gaming, dining, dance club, etc. In between the main and the other two were gangways. You could look down and see the water below. Right where the two smaller ones split was another gangway leading towards the casino barge. At that specific "T", was Post 7. Visualize turning the "T" to the right a quarter turn. The north small barge housed the employee cafeteria, locker rooms and a smoking/break area. The south small barge consisted of the "bank" aka vault and surveillance. Casino camera security personnel and let me tell you, there were cameras everywhere, even at Post 7. Most cameras had microphones and speakers. Post 7 had one of those and it was to be my new home for the next week or so. It was now 4 hours in at the first night at that post and it was time for my lunch break. Right on time a "Rover" security guard relieved me and added, "You have 30 minutes. Don't be late." I kinda laughed because door to the cafeteria was literally only 15 feet away. I met up with another security guard taking his break and asked a coworker why did everyone dislike Post 7. I mean, yes it was boring, cold, windy and had to stand in one spot the whole time. He, Jack, laughed and asked if I noticed the anything funny about the fog. Not that I noticed and I said no, it's my first night. He said it rolls in exactly at 3:37 every morning and it's only there in between the barges. It moves North but as soon as it gets to the front of the casino, it dissipates. No one sees it roll in or roll out. It's only in that area. I asked him if it happens during the summer months. He said yes but it's not as noticeable; in the colder winter months it gets really thick. Well, lucky for me, it was February and the lows were hitting close to 34deg F. As I gazed up to the cafeteria clock it was time to go back to my station. With my big thick jacket, gloves and skull cap, I was still dang cold. That cold humid air cut right through your clothes and chill you to your core. I swapped out with my other coworker who was watching my post while I ate my "lunch" and I stood there with only my thoughts, trying to keep my mind off the cold. With my back facing South against the wind, out of the corner of my left eye, I noticed the fog. My face was still tucked into my jacket as I looked at my watch. Not even joking, 3:37 on the button. And at that very same time and thought, I heard in my left ear someone say, "MOVE". I immediately thought of surveillance personnel trying to get through and go to their smoke break. I raised my head and spoke out loud, "I'm sorry... I didn't know you were there." I turned my head into the fog ready to come face to face with someone and no one was there. I quickly whipped my head around and back trying to catch whomever was trying to play tricks on me but still no one was there. I laugh now thinking back as I said, "F&$K THIS!!!". It was surveillance alright. Talking to me with the camera. They got me real good. And what about the fog?? The generators that would supply the casino with emergency power in case of power outages completes an autostart procedure precisely at 3:30 every morning and it's timer was accidentally set 7 minutes fast and no one cared to change it. That's it. That's all it was. Now it's going to be MY TURN to mess with the newbies... LMAO!!! CHEERS!!!!
Ok. Now I'm P!SSWD! I read ALL that waiting for some kind of bone chilling ending that would make it hard to sleep tonight and all I got was wasted time and generators? Shame on you. THIS is why I have trust issues.

As a guard for a hospital, I’ve seen some things. It’s nerve wracking patrolling the morgue after dark. Don’t want anyone to sit up.

So the story people have gathered is the player had an affair with the woman in red and finally broke it off and she killed herself. She then haunted him and blamed him as everyone started talking about the affair and gossiping about her.

Omg that first jump scare with the woman standing behind us I think my heart stopped and I got goosebumps over my whole body! I don’t normally scare easy but that game kept me on the edge of my seat! I know this is an horror game but as someone living in Tokyo my only thoughts during the house sequence were “where does this guy live that he has a LAUNDRY ROOM in Japan can’t be Tokyo I want a laundry room and giant house too” 😂 also the vending machine towards at the beginning with the “Chief” brand and old man advertising is a nod to a real coffee brand called Boss that has an gentleman on the logo and often used Tommy Lee Jones for advertising! I love Chilla’s games because they’re Japanese and they always include things that are very accurate and fun to recognize as someone living here.
Edit: the poster at about 54:39 just says “retro doll” (retro ningyou)! It also says “handmade series” and “a friend who came from abroad” in smaller font.

What I find interesting is this demonic entity before the final floor, would only ever stalk you from time to time without EVER attacking you in any way. I now wonder, does it only (and can only) attack you if you inflict fear within yourself? Remember the tunnel when you turned the corner and it was right there, but the moment you moved in closer, it ran back? Your character didn't seem scared despite what he was seeing throughout the floors. Only the moment at the final floor you were inflicted with fear and told yourself "I gotta get out of here" is when it started to chase you. Makes sense with two two girls that ran and were killed.

As a security person who has to lock up a building in the evening/past dark:
1. Yes it is terrifying if you have an active brain. Sometimes I have to stop and ask myself WHY am I thinking this and why am I torturing myself with thought.
2. Typically you would want a security person who minds their own business. When I lock up, what ever is left behind on desks is not part of my lock up and therefore not any of my business. Its just hopefully a trust thing that the security guard wouldn’t be looking through your things
I've been a security for about 15 years working night shifts at a football training ground. So unnerving doing a patrol and seeing the medical equipment, makes your brain run wild thinking of horror films/games It can be awful being on your own, hearing a noise and knowing you have to investigate it. I've heard whistling and talking and also motion sensor lights activating in the building when I know for a fact I am the only person on site. Not everyone is cut out to be a night shift security guard and we definitely don't get the appreciation we deserve

I used to work as a nightwatchman in a big building, 9 stories tall with three sub-basement floors, nearly all dark. Luckily I had one of those big ass torches that could double as a club lol

As a good friend, it is your absolute duty to sneak into Foosters house, hide in the wardrobe, for hours, and wait, wait, wait. The Fooster will sit down and do a horror play through. The time will come quick enough at this point, when Fooster eventually calls out" is any body there". And then the wait is over and he can finally get an answer from within his own apartment. And all will be right with the world.
This isnt the same department but im a nightime cleaner for a social services building, and there are lots of papers and things people could look at, not to mention the creepy vibe when youre the only one there.

I was once a security guard at a sewing factory full of mannequin 's before mobile phones so i couldn't tiktok or anything else lol, i was 18 and my office was basically the kitchen with loud humming noises with the odd clunk scariest place by far i ever worked my mind played tricks on me constantly
On this day, I don't know if fooster we added a lot of ads manually but i had an ad every 2-3 minutes in a video this long its taken 2hrs to watch this 90 minute video

The janitors are on their game with floors looking like that, and when you first walked in, the shadow didn't make the camera glitch a bit like the one on the 3rd floor. I'm getting brave encounter vibes from that building. Good movie, I thought, but I never saw the first one

I work as private security guard. I have no strict place where to be. They send us wherever is needed. And I tell you the real deal is not as bad as these games show lol. But depending where you´re sent, it can get really spooky. The worst experience I´ve ever had was at a construction site. Specially when the construction is very advanced already. So you actually have most of the building done. THe noises you hear are brutal. And the only light sources you have are your flashlight and the moon if you´re lucky and it´s not cloudy. In many other places you actually do not walk in the creepy darkness they show in games. I mean...look at it. Independently if it´s 3pm or 3am, that´s most of the light that indoors place the game shows would always have. And it´s really bad illumination. For horror purposes, of course. But in real life is very different. You do not feel this kind of "vulnerability" they try to deliver.
