I do love Bill's jaundiced view on life. Very dry humour which goes down well here in the UK. I don't watch these reviews for the car, but rather for Bill's acerbic rants.
I love how Bill takes a supremely classy vehicle and sullies it a bit with the whole flasher reference! And of course reading the brochure's almost smarmy description of the car. Classic Bill! Thanks for another entertaining review. Enjoy the weather next week, Bill! ❄
...yes, that's what I was thinking, too! 👍 ...the DOOR buttons (driver/passenger) are visible at 24:00 at bottom of A pillar (or on flat portion above the speaker)...
Poor Bill! At one point he is saying how he has been crushed under the shoe of the world and then in the background you hear a weed whacker, a lawn mower and an airplane all at the same time.
“It’s no fun being poor when you’ve got a natural talent for improperly using wealth.” Bill channeling Winston Churchill while reviewing a Rolls-Royce. lol
Increase Bill's pay grade for producing such a humorously aspirational expression that disparages money and how it brings out the worst in us. Love it!
Hello Bill from Ron in a very wet and cold Manchester England. What a fantastic car to review the Rolls-Royce Dawn which was launched in 2015. In 1998 BMW paid £40 million to Rolls-Royce PLC who built engines for aeroplanes for the rights to use the Rolls-Royce name
21:32 Bill how dare you close your own door in a Rolls Royce! There's a little control panel in the left and right corner of the dash to close the door automatically.
I worry about a lot of things. Now I have to worry about psycho ducks? I'm glad your friend healed, and I thank him for sharing this interesting car with all of us. The worst a duck ever did to me was peck at my leg and shoe.
@@MisterMikeTexas I read all 3 of your comments while doing a shit, and they're very funny and endearing. I once got geese shit on my hands on a school trip. That's about it no duck related trauma.
There's an incredible amount of profit made on these cars. It has mostly 7 series parts and costs 3x the amount. And they still make money on the 7 series as well. Certainly a beautiful car but I just couldn't justify the cost as the one off over engineered cars of the past are gone. Cheers!
You'd think British management could manage to make a profit on 7 series with a drinks cabinet... but ohhh no. Haha😅. They are expert...at being losers.😮
Bill the type of guy to Bump out Black Sabbath on the way to a funeral- straighten his tie and switch of the Car stereo *just* before anyone noticed! 😂
This car is built in the UK by British people, just because they put a German engine in it does not make it a German car. I have a Maserati with a Ferrari engine and a German ZF Transmission. Does that make it German? No.
The turn off - At the rear, looking at the rear of this car the shape of the taillights and how they wrap around along with the chrome strip above the license plate resembles very much the rear of the 1990/91 Ford Crown Victoria. And vintage it is especially those buttons under the air vents on the dash that look like mini jukebox selectors at a greasy spoon diner. Oh, I forgot. That chrome circular I guess speaker cover in front of the door handle - Grandma had those on her colored matched radio and toaster from the 40s. Ending with this, the selector switch for the headlights. What the hell is that? Reminds me of a knob on a toaster. Imagjne that.
What could be more quintessentially British than a Rolls-Royce built by BMW?...After all, we speak Anglo-Saxon - from the Germanic Angles and Saxon tribes, and have a monarchy who only changed their surname to Windsor from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha in 1916 as the First World War made the original a bit untenable....
Pardon me Bill I’m curious do you have any grey Poupon naturally you say of course as you pass over the jar of exclusive Dijon mustard from your car to Me in my car
Forget about the Mansory edition, the Gucci edition and the Pucci edition. If Rolls Royce wants to inject a little class into its lineup, they ought to just make a Bill edition. Big cigarette lighter, max capacity ashtray, laser guided bird detector, Dalton Abatement System and...🤔... for the piéce de resistance...🤔...uh...a glass of coronavirus whiskey as a hood ornament. 🥃 ...or miniaturized version of Marianne from back in the day. Whataya say Rolls? Ya got it in ya?
I haven't googled it but I'm pretty sure that Bentley had an option for a £180k clock on the dash... and I'd be surprised if you can't get similar in an RR.
Gosh Bill, I love your commentary - as always - but I'm not in love with this Car. I think I am too old and maybe too financially challenged to get excited about it. I do own a 1976 Silver Shadow which is glorious, and that (to me at least) is the epitome of British elegance and class. Again, my age probably has something to do with my taste 🙂
To me this is a Masterpiece. Rolls Royce should consider offering a Masterpiece option group to further differentiate themselves from those other plebian offerings from lesser-than automobile companies.
quite the contrast between this car and the 68 chevelle ss 396 in the last video . if i had to pick this or the ss 396 i would for sure go for the chevelle
Miss the days when every humble American marque had a sled bigger than a Rolls and an optional engine that made the 6.75 litre Rolls seem downright small. Lots of 'progress' cough cough.
Bill, 1). I missed the back seat Canadians ? -- 2). The car is Huge - But: Still at least 16 inch "shorter" than an early 70s Eldorado or Mark IV. They were even longer and wider than the RR Phantom, ft. an 8.2 L ( ! ) V8 motor ... and 3). The erotic brochure is only fitting for a car that has a "Spirit of Ecstacy" hood ornament, lol.
Thanks for showing all of your car picks. I am particularly interested in how the upper 2% live and realize I may never get a chance to discuss the pro’s and con’s of ownership except for a shitty wet Florida morning video that you decided was worth doing!
Well I do think the fat steering wheel is meant for the super high horsepower in the car, if it had a super thin steering wheel, it’ll break off when going full power with a v12 590hp car
I do love Bill's jaundiced view on life. Very dry humour which goes down well here in the UK. I don't watch these reviews for the car, but rather for Bill's acerbic rants.
He's a national treasure here in the US. I'm convinced he could do a very detailed review on a 1980s garden hose if it ever came down to it.
The cars are just a bonus, and a proper excuse to listen to and enjoy the ramblings of an old man.
oh for the Love of God...
@@BlacKnightRising 🤣🤣🤣
Weaving humor with a voluminous vocabulary makes Bill a delight.
Bill has the greatest voice, should have done a career in radio. I love his outlook and his car reviews and am glad to see him still going!
Bill. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. 🏆
Now you're talkin! Would love to see a Bentley Brooklands or Mulsanne too.
Rolls Royce styling has gone from “Yes of course dear boy I have money. Always have.” to “Brah check it out! Look at how much money I
have!”
I love how Bill takes a supremely classy vehicle and sullies it a bit with the whole flasher reference!

Bill you forgot the button on the A pillar to close the door...one can't possibly close one's own door........
...yes, that's what I was thinking, too! 👍 ...the DOOR buttons (driver/passenger) are visible at 24:00 at bottom of A pillar (or on flat portion above the speaker)...
Bill the kind of guy to do burnouts outside a retirement home.
What’s wrong with that? Lol
To cheering crowds.
We love bill. He gives zero craps about anything❤😂
Retirees are hard of hearing anyway 😎
Is it wrong?
The flasher reference to the doors being open. 🤣🤣
The still shot of Harvey Korman from "Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" cracked me up. My dad loved that movie.
I love that movie, even though I’ve seen it numerous times it still cracks me up!
@@COJones43 Same here!!
You mean Dick Shawn as Sylvester Marcus. Harvey Korman wasn't in the movie.
@@thesolver1970 Thank you. All these years I never paid attention to the credits and thought it was Harvey Korman.

In the case of closing the wide opening doors: there is a button that does it for you so you don’t have to reach out so far.
Anything for the lazy pampered rich
@markremy4946 rich people are not lazy. It takes alot of work with out sleep
Bill, the flasher reference and graphics were the best ever!! 🤠
I don't even have a driver's license 😂 but I'm addicted lmao .. Bill your awesome 👏👏

When you showed the flasher you should have written Curious Cars on the blacked out square. :)
24:45 Truer words have never been spoken.
The $10,000 umbrella should be an option !
Wow what a wild car. Thanks Bill, we all appreciate your efforts!
I am sure that there is a button to close that door. There has to be a power self-closing door button for each side.
Takes on the profile of a flasher 😂 Bill you never cease to amaze and entertain us

Both informative and absolutely hilarious. Many thanks!
