Mt. Fuji FAIL at Lake Kawaguchi + Tips

Our attempt to see Mt. Fuji from the beautiful viewpoint of Lake Kawaguchi! Taking the train from Shinjuku Station to Kawaguchiko Station, we make a quick visit hoping to see the mountain. Fuji-san was very shy on this cloudy fall evening, but we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the peak of Mt. Fuji. We completely freak out from excitement. #blessed

How far Mt. Fuji actually is from this lake, i'm putting both of this in my list.

Yay, they're definitely both worth a visit! Lake Kawaguchi is right next to Kawaguchiko Station. And it's a little less than an hour train ride from Kawaguchiko Station to Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station, the station right on the base of the mountain. Hope that helps!
