did everything it's not working my thoughts are why didn't Amazon put a reset button physically on the firestick

When nothing worked, I dismantled the whole device from each of the points, let it rest for 10 mins. Then I removed the adapter to the HDMI cable & made it direct. It has worked! There is some update happening for 10 mins. Fingers crossed! Will update in a day.
Once it came on, did a factory reset. Leaving the HDMI direct without the adapter.

Add me to the numbers. Nothing works. Tried it all. Won't even factory reset. I liked the firestick better than the roku but now we just use the roku. No plans on replacing it.
New Roku units are way less annoying then they used to be, they fly through menus and load programs instantly now

most times this happens is when it get stuck in update maybe while the stick isn’t in use holding the back button and forward on the circle for a little bit normally will get you to the factory reset screen

At the start of the video you say how you can help if your stick is stuck on start logo/bootup.
With that in mind how can you use remote to do a factory reset when it is clearly stuck on logo/bootup screen.
Can’t help but feel this video is just up to follow your link to buy a pointless power adapter that we don’t need.
You show what buttons to press then show a screen of info to reset to factory settings. That won’t happen if our stick is stuck on logo/bootup screen. Pointless help.

I messed mine up. Probably by removing the the factory launcher by following some youtube video. Now it just boot loops forever.
I have a generation 3 fire stick and it's been stuck on a bootloop for 5 months now and I've done every damn thing they say on UA-cam to get it back online but it is still stuck let me know if you find a trick that'll work I would greatly appreciate it

I work in the Fire tv department. Try this. Leave it on that screen. 2). Unplug wifi router from power for 2 minutes. 3) Leave tv on that screen for up to 6 hours. You have a 50% chance that at some stage it will just spring onto action. This is the only reliable way to fix this bug
A second thing you should probably try first is this : Hold the Play button and the select/circle button at the same time until screen says that fire tv is switching off. Restart and see if it works

No offense, but when you undo the stick, totally, you don’t have to touch the power box. Why would you have to undo the power box if you unplug the power from the stick and the HDMI there’s no common sense right there there for doing that

Most of the time, you plug it in and let the logo stay for at least 25min. It somehow resets it self. Worked of me of the 2 I have with that problem.

back to the hdmi it loaded for a few ( ab 5-10 minutes) then I clicked on the play button (between the 2 back and foward arrows) and the select button (big circle in the middle) held that for a few seconds and it went to a black screen then I pressed home and it came back.
