Yes. Tyres not the best for this driving. But the front brakes were a bigger problem and was overheating badly, even with yellowstuff pads, thanks to the stability control that was working hard in every turn. But it was still very fun.
Nice run! I have the same car (2012) and would LOVE to drive it on this course. Do they regulate the straight after the finish? Would love to have seen the car go flat out there. Great corners btw.
Thanks. If you want to go full throttle on the straight, you have to go for a track day. You also need to be aware that the transmission gets hot, so let it cool down after a round. And also the standard front brakes is not for track driving. They get hot and destroys the brake pads. So don't drive like me, make sure to brake much earlier than me before the turns. The car itself handles very nice and is funny to drive. I'm thinking about putting a big brake kit on the car in the future. Good luck with your car and drive safe.
Thanks! The brakes was holding okay for 5 rounds. But after that they were overheating and fading out. I used yellow stuff brake pads, the original brake pads are fading after few turns.
BlackV40 Yes it does revmatch on downshifts. And the transmission change gears fast to be a Volvo. The transmission is working fine as long I'm letting it cool down between rounds, it can be a bit to hot if it's pressed more than 15 minutes.
Swul thanks for your reply. I Found a P* that might replace my current V70r classic and Porsche 944 :-) but they both still drive super great and I don't want to downgrade. Great lap! Keep it in one peace!
BlackV40 Thanks. Will try to keep it one piece. Never had any incidents so far ;) And good luck with your car choice. Sounds like a good idea to keep your old cars if they still drive good. But a polestar is a nice upgrade also. Hopefully one day I can afford a polestar also with the straight six.
Better tyres required. Some nice driving but the tyres are clearly the limiting factor in half the circuit.
Agree about that. Its not track tyres. I will upgrade tires and brakes till next time.
Swul what tyres did you have ?
Seems like the handling is pretty good. This chassis is well built. Tyres is just the limiting factor here.

Great to see the telemetry!
Great driving 👍
Thank you.
I have that BEAST! 2015 AWD S60 Polestar...and yes Volvo is truly a sleeping giant. Wish we had a similar track for me to play on in Texas.
COTA, hello
@@cammgt3rs370 True, forgot about them. Thanks

Swul ok thanks for the info. Btw how much does it cost to run a lap like this? I guess I can look it up on my own...
@@phonologic
One lap costs 25 or 30 euro I think. It depends on which day you are driving.
Just drive on the autobhan right next to the track if y want to go flat out
@@xyyzs7023 that’s stupid and dangerous
TF-80SC TRANSMISSION?
Yes.
Nice driving! You mastered that heavy car! Did you fade out your brakes early?
Thanks! The brakes was holding okay for 5 rounds. But after that they were overheating and fading out. I used yellow stuff brake pads, the original brake pads are fading after few turns.
Swul traction control on?
@@Defennes Stability control was in sport, so traction control was off.
Does it revmatch? Looks like the gearbox shifts pretty good
