@@joyevs_TVI think people would buy ES6 over EL7. This one looks very sleek. Can you do a video on the charging speed of the ET5 with the new 500Kw charger?
@@joyevs_TVou are saying the current ET5 is still a 400V platform? I thought that at this point NIO already make the 800v ET5 that is backward compatible to the 400v battery. Talking about battery, is there already an 800v battery for the battery swap 3.0? I haven’t heard.
@@anvoong2510 Yeah, current model is still 400v but NIO is working on the 800v batteries. They want to bring down the costs of 800v and make it similar to the 400v battery. The NIO power swap station 3.0 is compatible with both 400v and 800v. Based on the current infrastructure of 4C charging stations and 800v EVs, the NIO swap stations and its super chargers are giving better experiences.
Hi Alejandro, there's no much news for its sub brand, but according some news that NIO is planing to sell their cars over 25 countries by the year 2025 including North American market. They may need more time for preparation works as US market is more complicated.
Wow so popular! Everyone at the Shanghai Auto Show came for the NIO drinks and food, generously sponsored by the shareholders. If NIO is lucky they might actually sell about a 100 of the new ES6 a week. Of course unless some other unexpected issue doesn’t periodically pop up like , you know , supply chain , chip shortage , bad software , change of weather at the factory, CEO getting a headache, etc (add excuse of the month as needed in this space )
I didn't expect they've built a NIO House there, but it's actually good experiences. If everything goes alright then the sales of new ES6 should be desirable.
Best comment ive ever read hahah. On point with everything haha. It would just be better for Nio to confess about the demand issue instead of lying all the time with these weird excuses 😅😅

It has some advantages like no battery end of life / speed over charging but it is not all one-way: Once the system is in place for a while you might end up with a 6 year old battery with reduced performance and range in your brand new car it is up to NIO to determine what is still a serviceable battery The cost of a new battery is just under 6 years of rental fees - after 6 years you pay more than buying the battery upfront Say you want to sell your car after 5 years - you have paid 95% as much as someone who bought a battery with the car but will only get 60-70% as much (or less) than a car that comes with a battery because of the ongoing monthly fee (or need to buy a new battery) Battery swaps are big in China because of the help of the Chinese govt to put in a lot of charging stations - there will be very few in most countries, of course you can still charge your NIO like any other car but takes twice as long as say a model Y long range at a Supercharger station. NIO in China has been under pressure from renters to be able to swap to owning batteries from renting (originally you had to make a choice upfront for the life of the car - once you chose rental that was it) - NIO finally announced the option for renters to buy batteries - there must be more than a handful of people pressuring NIO to be able to swap back to owning a battery from renting for this to happen which means this can't be a good experience for everyone.

ES6 looks pretty nice. 👍
Really nice!
what a beautiful car!
Nio should focus more on developing its software, electric motor efficiency, charging speed.

Why is the central screen so small compare to others EVs? Some have landscape mode too.
Yeah, it may not a very big infotainment screen if compare with other brands, but NIO alway preaches using the AR glasses to enjoy the movies.

Nowadays, the EVs are similar as smart phones, cannot tell much difference of the looks.😅
It'll probably catch fire like most of their EVs
Tesla uses Chinese battery from Byd and CATL. Byd blade battery is the safest one available. Tesla wouldn't have used it if it's not.
the bulge on the roof makes it look like a taxi 🚖
I am getting used to it as more and more EVs are putting LiDAR on the top😂
