Beautiful colors and composition. All the best with Emma. Crate training tests a persons patience, but so worth it in the long run. My Boxers love their crates - their little nests.
You are so freaking hilarious!! I actually laughed out loud when you said Fred was clearly not going to a peaceful place since he murdered all of the fish before him!
I love the white tip of Emma’s tail!! It looks like she dipped it in paint!! ❤️ When I was in school I accused my Mom of hiding dead fish from me cuz they kept disappearing......until one day I came home and Jack my killer fish had fins sticking out of his mouth!! So Jack became Jack the Ripper!! 🤣🤣😝😝
You did a fantastic job on those flowers, especially the later one's that you colored each petal individually. I struggle with no line coloring but this inspired me to give it another go. Congratulations on the puppy! Puppies are the best. 💕
Poor Jeff! Mean little thing held in as long as he could but he got his just reward in the end! Lol! So glad little Emma is settling in and LOVE the flowers!
Card is beautiful, Emma sounds sweet and seems to be settling in fine. Molly's reaction to getting in the crate with Emma,, so funny the fish 🐟🐡🐠 updates were great , sorry to hear Jeff is now the end of the fish era in the Latevola 🏠hold. Sometimes in the survival of the fittest, the fittest (Jeff in this case.has to also succumb to the forces of natural selection , whether it's two weeks, or two years.
This is absolutely beautiful. I would have never thought to use the blue green colors for the stems and leaves! They look amazing with the bright flowers.
Pretty card, great storytime! WHO the heck puts a thumbs down on a card making video like this??? So glad Emma a has a loving home...she will be so happy!
Lovely card, the photos of Emma on Facebook show her to be beautiful, as are all the humans shown. I agree with. Another commenter: Emma won the doggy lottery!
Beautiful card! Love the updates. Congrats on new family member, and with an older established dog in house, it is easier somewhat....mine is a rescue, and she had been a mom at some point, she was just great with a puppy my husband brought home...(stray, that went to a loving home). But my Girl helped set boundries for the pup and did a marvelous job even with potty training. Sounds like you've got good basic, yeah, it is what it is, and Molly will be a great teacher and helper. 🐕🐶⚘
Beautiful!!! I have yet to try no line.....not sure I ever will....so glad you got Emma!! When my son was 8, I watched my dog skip....he had a dog within 2 weeks, a 2 year old Belgium Malinois rescue, they we bbfs for 11 years, every boy needs a dog!! Oh and every mom...lol I love dogs
That is a gorgeous stamp set & your coloring is even more gorgeous, they look so realistic. Good luck with Emma, lots of work, but as you said worth it---thats why I have 2 cats--lol.
I wish you tons of luck with training Emma! My brother & SIL adopted 2 puppies from the same litter. Apparently the mother dog had been abandoned when her owners moved. They just left her in the apartment alone. I forget when in all that she gave birth, but thankfully a neighbor found her and she & the puppies ended up somewhere safe. Anyway, my brother & SIL found out about them, and adopted two of them. It was kind of a wild ride, especially since the boy (Yeager) was (and still is) VERY protective of his sister, Glennis, & would basically go after anyone he felt was hurting her. They finally ended up needing intervention with a professional dog trainer because they were just over the top wild. In fact, when Yeager first met our mom, he literally knocked her on the floor! But they are much better now, thank heavens! Hopefully Emma is calmer, and Molly will be a good role model for her. I do really love how this card came out, Kelly! I love the colors you used for the flowers & leaves, and the background sets everything off really well. And you're not at all lazy about using the leftover ink. You're just not being wasteful. I've even seen card makers just make an ink smooshed background with ink residue like that. Thank you so much for sharing, & I hope y'all have an awesome day! :)
wooooooww! this is stunning and soooo beautiful! LOVE the colors! love the coloring!! love the stories about your new puppy Emma and her sister Molly!!! love them!
Gorgeous! My RV coloring tends to look garish. I will have to try your combo of colors. Re: die cutting with the closed die....save the negative cut portion and use it as a template (you can just use scrap or computer paper). Stamp and color your image, then position the template on top. Set the die inside the template and run it through the machine. It works great.
Gorgeous card and colouring Kelly. Wishing you joy with your new puppy, I would think she'll keep you all on your toes. Shame about the fish, hope your little one isn't too upset, xx
Gorgeous card Kelly. So glad you got Emma. I saw her picture on Instagram she is gorgeous. Soooo cute. I'm sure Nathan will be great looking after her. I think its great for them to have a little responsibility. Hope all goes well.💕
Great card! Glad you were able to get Emma. It is a lot easier to train a puppy with another one in the house! We had gotten a puppy and she picked up on when to let us know when to go out right away. I think she only had about 5 accidents!! Plus, she NEVER chewed stuff except her TOYS!! But I always made sure she had plenty of her own toys. Lol.
I know we are not suppose to be intimidated by your coloring, but that card is gorgeous! I will keep on practicing. Thank you for the stories and videos.
I like fish...in the park aquarium. They always seemed kind of a cold pet and impossible to cuddle. The only good thing, they do not shed everywhere. After hearing you saga, I feel I made the right decision.
Beautiful flowers! Emma sounds so cute. Would love it if you could show her on one of your videos! I'm sure that everyone wants to see her. Sorry about the fish. I had guppies when I was young. They multiplied so fast! We kept giving them away.
Always learning from your videos, would love if you did a class on copic coloring. Glad Emma is home, we have added a rescue puppy this summer too. Gongs stuffed with natural peanut butter, cottage cheese, and Greek yogurt and then frozen are the best. He loves his crate because if them.
Talk about a flawless no-line coloring tutorial! Turned out amazing, like usual! & always a good morning when I get a little story time too! (another bonus) Much love from out West 💙
Hi Kelly, this colouring is fab, your so talented and I can only hope one day I could do anything as stunning, so pleased that you have Emma joining your family, I’m sure she will settle in and your doggies will be BFFF’s (best furry friends forever) lol xx bet Peanut is super happy and excited too, hug suzie 😘🇬🇧
Wow, I’m in awe of your no line coloring skills!!! MAGNIFICENT!!! This MFT Stamp is gorgeous!!! I think I must really love magnolias, if you check out any of my coloring lately, that’s been the flower of choice. So glad Emma has found her forever home with you & Nathan!!! Sorry about the ordeal with the fish 🐠 …well, on the bright side, now you can use the fish tank as a candle holder with decorative beads, I love my battery powered candles, I use rechargeable batteries in mine & the candles with the timers are wonderful. Anyway, so glad everything turned out well in the pet department! Thanks, as always, for sharing your time and creativity! Blessings, love, & hugs!!!
Thank you for sharing. I truly enjoy your extremely real and informative videos. You are an amazing artist and I truly appreciate all that you share with us.
Beautiful!!!! FYI, you can try a wind up alarm clock near the crate outside of it and see if that helps. It helped ours!!! Congrats on the new addition!!!!
When your coloring flowers, do you have an image of the real flower in front of you to help you with the colors? It is amazing how real they look! So pretty!
Love this Kelly! Those colors😍😍😍 i feel bad for the fishies....😔. Happy about Emma. I had Sunshine(dog) and got a puppy,Nikko, and she HATED him at 1st. Hed try n lay next to her n she'd leave. But after about 2 weeks they were snuggling together. So Im sure Molly n Emma will be buddies soon!🐾🐾🐾💕💕💕
Congratulations on your new baby, Kelly! Molly sounds like she’s super laid-back and likely to accept Emma really soon. I hate to sound callous, but I don’t think the fish are much of a loss; they’re not cuddly and they don’t have much personality. Doggos for the win! (And the card is gorgeous. No-line coloring scares me.)
Congrats on the new pup! And I think pups are much more better than fish! LOL....no more fish sagas! HAHAHAHA! Love that floral stamp and die! Great job! :)
That is a beautiful card! Love the coloring. I've never tried no line coloring but I'm going to try it. Thanks for sharing. I'm a new ssubscriber and looking forward to more videos.
Wait - what? - no bold black outline? :) Love the no-line coloring, you rocked it. Happy for you and Peanut on the adoption and for Emma that she's found her forever home. Too bad about the fish, but Jeff got what he deserved in the end.
Kelly, instead of putting Molly in the cage with Emma, you could put a hot water bottle in and a clock. Both of these mimic another dog, might be worth a try. Fantastic video as always. Best wishes from Northern Ireland and your friend Lyn xxxx
Happy belated birthday Kelly!! It was my bday weekend too, 8/30. So I knew there was a reason I liked you so much, aside from the fact that I love your stories, card style and sense of humor. Beautiful card! Glad Emma and Molly are adjusting to each other well. 💜🖌🎨🐕🐶
Welcome to the family, Emma 🐶 I saw the pics on IG, she's so cute! I have a Miniature German Shepherd and a Yorkie... can you guess who's the boss in that duo? LOL! Great card! 😊
Okay so I'm a goober. I knew there had to be a way to leave comments from my phone but I couldn't find it to save me. I finally asked my son, of course it was super easy. The bad part is I've watched almost every single one of your videos going all the way back. Couldn't comment on any of them. I watch your videos on my TV because it's huge and I'm blind. Getting your laptop out as an ordeal but now I'm so happy I can comment on my phone. Love love love the card. Can't wait to see pics of Emma I hope they'll be on your blog since I don't Instagram. So glad Nathan has his little puppy and that the fish ordeal is over. It was funny to listen to but I would have been closed to committing fish-i-cide if the last couple of ones hadn't gone on their own LOL.
I love the colors and the chatting. Thank you for sharing! So I saw another video that might help with the solid die cut/stamp situation. I hope it’s appropriate to suggest it. I haven’t actually put it to use yet but it appears to be a really good tip. It’s not mine I just happened to see it. It’s Julie Ebersole “make a stamping and die cutting jig” posted on aug 19, 2019. Anyway, I really enjoyed the the video!
Beautiful card and coloring! I about died when you said (almost gleefully) Jeff is dead! I thought why would Kelly announce someone’s death like that! Then it hit me and I busted out laughing! Thanks so much for the fish update was wondering about them. Welcome home Emma. 🐶
I love how tender Nathan is toward the new baby, Emma. And may Jeff, his murderous soul, rest in peace. LOL!
Congrats on Emma🐶. Lol your stories kill me Kelly. You should have been a story teller. I absolutely love this card and the colors are gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️
RIP Jeff..... Welcome Emma...... love listening to you Kelly.
Oh WOW....... beautiful card and great idea to die cut first and then stamp!! Brilliant!!!!
Beautiful card! So happy to hear you got the puppy, Congrats! Emma won the doggy lottery, Yay!
Wow loved this one. Love the stories.
Wow! I’m blown away by your coloring of the magnolias. Beautiful card. And keep those stories coming of Emma and Molly. It’s great to have two dogs.
Ohhh my gosh you’re the bomb diggity! I wouldn’t event attempt a no line with this stamp. It’s gorgeous! But I could not do it justice. You just did!
Yeah, a new puppy! Sounds like Emma & Molly will be great friends. I know you and Peanut will have years of love from your two 4-legged pals.
This is absolutely beautiful. I would have never thought to use the blue green colors for the stems and leaves! They look amazing with the bright flowers.
Oh man. The stories are legit. And on this week's episode of "Kelly and kritters" LOL ❤
I love watching you color with Copic.
Pretty card, great storytime! WHO the heck puts a thumbs down on a card making video like this??? So glad Emma a has a loving home...she will be so happy!

Gorgeous card and colouring Kelly. Wishing you joy with your new puppy, I would think she'll keep you all on your toes. Shame about the fish, hope your little one isn't too upset, xx
He's good, they were dying so fast he didn't have time to get attached
I couldn’t resist, I followed the link and purchased the stamp and die. I am determined to succeed at alcohol ink coloring.

You are a fantastic teacher, Kelly! This card is so beautiful! I guess you can put all your fish supplies on Craig’s List. Just kidding. 😉
Stunning card...as usual...but, I was hysterical laughing at the fish saga.....RIP🐟🐟🐟
