    I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone lay down natural edges with a comb. Black women can do anything!

    Isn’t it easier to this with bundles for braids that with wefts ?

      Hey! Thank you💕. Yes, it is easier that way. I didn’t have braiding hair, thus, I opted for this.

    Finally a detailed tutorial...love this 💕
    If i have relaxed hair, do i minimize on the products or same thing?i use all of them?
    Also you said it lasts about a week so what do you use for touch ups in the morning?
    Some of us sleep weird😅

    • @NthabisengPetlane
      @NthabisengPetlane  Рік тому +2

      Hey Sis. You can use gel alone if your hair is relaxed (not as much as I do).
      I use the gel and wax for touch ups. Sprits water, remove the old product with a damp cloth, brush that area, restyle and lay it with my scarf for a few minutes so that it sets in place. You can use holding spray for it to last longer. That’s it.
      Thank you for watching. 💕💕

    Pls share how to avoid flakes. Thanks

    • @NthabisengPetlane
      @NthabisengPetlane  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Sis. Use oil sheen and use the black got2b gel instead of the yellow one. If you do have stubborn flakes(white patches).. dab/spray a generous amount of water on the area. ❤️❤️

    I dont want to lie but I have tried some of your hairstyles and I've failed, I think it is much easier on short afro but my big afro gave me a struggle

    Hi sis. Do we need to wet our hair a bit first?

    • @NthabisengPetlane
      @NthabisengPetlane  3 роки тому +8

      Hey sis. Yes, it is best to start on damp/wet hair, you end up using too much gel when the hair is dry. Sorry I never mention this. Have a great week. 💕

    How long does it take to get dry with the doek?

    • @NthabisengPetlane
      @NthabisengPetlane  3 роки тому +3

      Hi there. I usually do my hair before I sleep, I wake up to it dry. If i do it in the morning, the amount of gel I use will determine how long it takes to dry. The more gel you use the longer it takes, unless you opt to use a hairdryer ontop of the doek.

    • @NthabisengPetlane
      @NthabisengPetlane  Рік тому

      Hi. The wax is from Cosmetic Connection. Local supermarkets also sell it. Takealot also sells it, but they overprice it. 💕

    How long does the hairstyle last?

    • @NthabisengPetlane
      @NthabisengPetlane  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Ntombi. I had this for 3 days. It lasts for a week when you add sprits or freeze spray once you are done styling and not exposing your hair to water (if it is natural) .

    Hi sis. What hair did you use for iGoda?

    • @NthabisengPetlane
      @NthabisengPetlane  2 роки тому

      Hi Sis. I used Mink yaki. However, I suggest you use normal braiding hair (it is easier to use for this hairstyle). The only reason I used this hair was because I didn’t have braiding hair. 😊
