Fawad Khan is a Pakistani actor/model. I start by sketching the portrait by using the grid method, this helps to get the exact proportions of the face. I like to start painting from the middle of the face, like the eyes or nose, this helps to build the face structure quicker.
To paint the hair and beard, paint the darkest colour to block and then add highlights to get the effect and detail.
