I was wondering if changing the accessories (Springs, Pins, Etc.) was necessary, as well as the heat shield you placed on the pads. Thank you!

I think it's recommended. New hardware should help it last longer and reduce failures.

Take off the battery earth first ? will the pistons compress like a regular car if I remove the reservoir cap ?
