The main reason why I'm still actively playing is because of some specific cosmetic drops I still haven't gotten Sometimes it hardly feels rewarding at all (even frustrating if you're in Tier 3 trying to get into a specific dungeon but always end up in the other), but I'm either too stubborn to stop or afraid that if take a break and play something else instead I might not want to return

That’s Dimps we talking about so who knows what we gonna get in the future, or if they just trying to milk more money out of players as much as they can rather than fix the game and adding more contents.
Hey man! Just stumbled across your channel here and it seems you are one of the few people who still play and keep up with the game's progress. Just curious if you would recommend the game at all seeing how its currently 35% off where I live. I'm really on the fence about it but all reviews here tend to be based on week 1 during the honeymoon phase, not weeks into the grind. It also seems like I have already missed out on some items and unlocks, so already that's a bummer... Would really appreciate your take for someone like me who is still not 100% sold and if there is a future for this game long term.
@@DrMoxmoReadings it’s hard for me to recommend this game right now for anyone. Unless you are a SAO fan, and buy this when it’s really cheap. New players who are getting this game right now will most likely find a lot less people to play the game compared to launch. Some time there are no players to even start a match at all. Since majority of the players are done while waiting on new contents and higher contents. It is really hard to play in lower tiers for them. The future of this game is uncertain, I’m sure people will come back for new characters and new stuff. As it right now barely enough players just to start a match. It is really sucks for new players who just pick up this game, and not able to find players to play or just waiting for the lobby to fill before start the match. The game is not bad, but it’s not enough contents to keep people coming back to play a lot currently. It’s your choice if you can with stand waiting in each match. Before you buy it think about if 6 maps, 5 bosses, and no solo only multiplayers. If that’s something you like then sure. If not then I’d say wait for it to be even cheaper or when there are more contents first. It’s hard for me to recommend people to buy this game as right now otherwise if they don’t find people to play, or end up waiting for a long time it’s my fault. Typically I tell them if that’s what you want to do after I’m describing the current situation you can make your own decision. I think it’s a decent fun game no doubt, but when there are not enough players to play it really sucks. Ultimately, you will find people to play. How long will you wait for each match that’s the problem.

I knew of the always online requirement but I didn't think that they would actually not allow you to do anything outside of story without partying up first or just using bots to fill in potential gaps. That's a shot in the foot for the future for sure. I really enjoy Grand Blue Fantasy earlier this year, but sadly it seems all support for that game is over and despite doing everything I wanted to in that game, the itch for a game like this was not scratched completely, really thought this game could fix that! My gut feeling was leaning towards "No", but I think you just saved me some money and heart ache.... Really appreciate it! But I think I will be watching your content in the future in hopes that you can report some solid changes for the game in the future for where you can add that golden seal or approval! There’s not much to try hard for. Just playing a lot during xp events you’ll level up, and I never heard anyone using that word to describe it lol. We all still enjoy the game, it’s a bit different for our old school grinders. Some plays more than others, just like any games. Certainly hope they add more stuff in the future.

@ people didn’t quit the game they are mainly waiting for new stuff and taking a break. There are people who stop playing the because they don’t have fun or don’t find anything to do. That’s nothing new in SAO games. Only players left are usually the ones who actually plays SAO. I’ll play regardless as long there’s xp events or something to do. Plus weekly stuff for new battle pass.
im player rank 100 i have my ways of getting characters to 100 easy like ever since i beat the story of the game i lost most motivation to play the game cuz all thats left is just farm epic or legendary passives just to perfect your build for dps. people are out here doing over 5-10 million damage with optomised passives and gear like why cant we take the level 5 skills from rare/uncommon? its the same skill we farm in epic and legend drops but we can only take skills from epic or legendary gears it would cut the pointless grind. idk why some uncommon/rare skills have them highlighted when you cant take them out to put on your legendary/epic gears.

If i know 1 thing about Bandai, they give a shit about there playerbase. I tryed everything for SAO FB. I played more then 10k hours because the Game was "perfect". But they completly fucked it up. And we wrote Mails etc. Nothing happens.
@@sinz3870 that’s Dimps mainly. Bandai just a publisher. It’s up to the devs to fix their game and stuff not publisher. Obviously, both are bad in general. Mainly problem is in Japan so they are not gonna hear us.
You give it too much credit I say one year at most it will hang on unless they actually put in some more content in sooner than later because it’s already dying so If they don’t I don’t see this being alive 2 or 3 years they really should’ve added something already do they not know if your game is a multiplayer server game you have to add more Contant at least monthly specially if there isn’t much to begin with it sucks because the gameplay is fun They’re just not bringing out the content. And not listening.
@@keithitokirigaya3146 if they do it like this they can definitely drag it out for at least 2 years. The problem is they don’t seem to wanting to throw out contents quick. They are definitely taking it slow with or without current conditions. They never gonna listen to NA players mainly just Jp so it doesn’t matter too much. It’s not a big deal got other games or stuff to do while taking a break. SAO is not really meant for nonstop grinding and insane amount of contents right after release. It takes months for them to update usually.

@ tbh I don’t really care to keep repeating the same thing in every videos. It is what it is. I play when I want, and switch to other stuff when I want. It’s fine I’m pretty busy with life anyway not really needed to worry about SAO contents that much anymore since LR. Nothing can do about it besides just waiting like every SAO games. Dimps aren’t necessarily better for SAO games like Aquria when it comes to understanding how the SAO works and needs.
