I'd love to see more videos of this pad used in a hibrid kit,I just got one and my mind is gonna explode, once I get my head around this I'll be grand these videos are invaluable to help people like me great stuff keep them up Simon 👍💪
To actually save the samples to a kit & pads you need to use the STORE button after you have followed all of the steps mentioned here. If you dont then the samples will simply be stored in the wave bank next time you turn on and not stored in the kit you thought you'd assigned them to.
So I own DTXM12 with the YAMAHA CS651WA STRAIGHT CYMBAL STAND what I usually do is I rotate the pad over and over to you know, attached it to the stand and its secured enough and tightened, but now its not anymore strangely. any solution?
Simon, i just recieved my m12 and little did i know i had to hook up to laptop or tablet. I just want to use it. I have a windows laptop. What do i need to do? Dowload what and to where. What cable. So sorry but im not great with computers. I just really want to start using with my headphones and my kick tower. Thank you
You don't need to connect it to anything! Learn to use it as it is - you'll be much better at using it than those who only use the app. I hardly ever connect mine to anything unless there is a specific job to do. Just plug in headphones, grab your sticks and go for it!
@@edruminfo oh really! I tried that and heard nothing. That's what I want to do. Km using the kp90 kick drum with it. I was using headphones but no sound. Maybe hooked up wrong. Simon you are such a grewt help for everyone struggling. So no need to download anything. Why was there no sounds? Sorry and thanks a million again
@@edruminfo do I have to assign my kp90 kick to it? As i mentioned I heard nothing. Maybe I wasn't in right settings. What port would I plug my kp90 in? And what settings should I be in to start playing. Thanks again Simon. I guess I should of been more clear. So only download updates to usb and then download to m12.

Do you mean the M12? I wouldn't really describe the M12 as a kit, which is why I asked. If you do mean the M12, then yes... sort of. Each pad can have 4 samples on it. You can have these as 4 velocity layers (stack mode - good if your playing dynamically) or 4 round robins (alternate mode - good if you are playing consistent back beats and want a different sound every time to avoid machine gunning) but not both at the same time. I hope that helps.
Simon. Any way of contacting you about my DTX Multi 12 as I'm having two issues with it that Yamaha and Apple Logic can't fathom between them. One is a DTX issue for sure, the other, not sure.
There are many free app which will do it, or you can do it on Reaper (for free, on Mac or PC) or any other DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) like Cubase, Logic, Ableton etc
Hi Simon, How do I find and store the wav files into a kit after I've already uploaded a bunch of wav samples. 1) I only get the option of assigning wav samples to pads upon upload and then I don't get that option again. 2) When I'm searching for sounds to add to my kit, the wavs samples I uploaded don't show up. Thank you kindly for your guidance!!
Hi. If you have loaded them, they are in the pad, they don't need loading again, and are ready to be used on any other kit. Go to Voice. Highlight the first 2 letters (instrument type) and go up (+) until you find WV (or Wave ie, your own wave files). Then just scroll through the WV files until you find the samples you are looking for.

More tutorials please!!!!
OK, I'll try! Time allowing! Thanks Troy!
how can you copy one of the kits to a user kit?
It's one thing to be able to download samples in the DTXM12 but will the sample play with different timbre/color following the velocity it is played?
The M12 can load up to 4 samples per pad and you can adjust them to change for velocity (or layers etc) so yes, if you want that, you can have it.

Does the kit have the ability to load "round robin" samples?

Hi Nigel simon at edruminfo.com just with an 'at' sign and no gaps is best.
how do you covert the samples 16bit 44.1kh.........

@@edruminfo thanks
Is there any website for download the samples?
Le cargo los samples y fallan los pad😢
Then you aren't loading 16bit/44.1kHz samples. No problem with the pads
