I imagine some places in NZ would be incredible to fly in. Imagine the wind effects and cloud generations in Milford sound, or even in Queenstown. The depiction here is incredible.
@@einarengvoll sadly no theres, been no mention of gliders :( if there isnt one im sure one will be modded in almost immediately tho, and we will be able to use a glider from fsx supposedly in the mean time using the legacy mod support, it is also possible to soar normal planes but requires pretty strong wind. reeeeally hope they include a sailplane in the base game tho cos this looks like it might be the best sim for soaring if its all actually as good as they say, it looks there may even possibly be things like wave lift and im assuming they will have better thermals than fsx
So much is 'native' to the build - amazing right out of the 'box'. Has anyone else begun (sneaky, flashlight under the blanket scribbling on notepads) work ups of where money will be diverted from, and time, in order to build the machine that will run this effectively? (Hand up) 'Guilty!'. :)
Perfect storm for end of 2020: new flightsimulator + new AMD Zen 3 CPU + whatever replaces the RTX 2080Ti. I have been saving up for this moment for a long, long time.
ph1p0 True. But this is probably X-Planes biggest strength. So it's not negative to be on par with that one. For most of the rest, like graphics, scenery, weather, almost certain high quality payware addons -> FS2020 > XP.
yes the way it did not crash on fsx was just disappointing. even if they didnt program crashes were to be accurate anything is better then a pop up message saying you crashed
Heck of a lotta work there guys! Anyone with a 4Dom machine will need to keep it well greased 😆. That’s if a plug-in is going to be written to accommodate msfs2020. Am super realistic-ally psyched for this.
Hello David, Thanks for the great video again. Every new episode makes me look forward more to FS2020. There is one topic in this episode, that raised questions at my side. That is the topic Legacy simulator still available. Does this mean, one can switch FS2020 back to an FSX generation planes and scenery aceepting state? And if this is correct: what consessions does this have for the great new capacities of FS2020? Can you clear this up a bit, please? Thanks! Bram Stikkel
A GTX or RTX 1060/2060 is probably all you need for 1080p gaming (4K is a different story). HOWEVER, you should consider getting a CPU with 6 cores or more and more RAM (24, 32, or 64GBs are probably the best bet. 16GB is probably the minimum)
i hope that file system directories will be really more elegant and smple than "spaghetti" weird recursive spiderweb neuronal organised. Remember the way this was in FS... like in WIndows with .INI, registeries, User AppData, My Documents, Program Data... symlinks, and so on, with the deal to use ALL the organisation features to make THE MESS, and need some I.A. software to understand WHERE are the user save games datas, user preferences, and so on. Hope they will think outside "Microsoft" minded. Hope to have simples separate .INI files for preferences, like joystick config, keyboard shortcuts, Goflight shortcuts, graphic settings, ... then, a folder in My Document for situations, replays, logbook and so on, maybe a cloud part for social shared awards medals and ego shinings, but not too much thinking about the planet and servers, heatings, cooling... Hope this will be safe to make a local backup of FS2020 installed with local map datas, so that it will run anyway later, even there is some big world web crash ( due to pollution, climat problems, politic war )... so that big workpiece can be runned in the future. The goal for each creation structure is always the eternity.
I think this video should silence the remaining XPlane Fan boys that still lure around saying this will never be as good as Xplane in aero-dynamics. I bet all of them singed up for tech demo and will buy it on day 1 haahah
The download size is probably comparable to the average AAA game. Keep in mind that the terrain and earth data is ALL STREAMED! Meaning that it is taking off of Microsoft''s servers. Anyways expect an intial download size ranging from 60 to 100GBs. Depending on your wifi this may take a day or two to download.
This is pre-alpha footage and keeping that in mind, that is actually a really well-done flight deck. I don't know what you're talking about, but I guess you must know what you're talking about cause you're totally an A320 pilot.
FederalAce I actually do and not because I’m a pilot but because I’ve seen one and I know they can do better because if you look at the first trailer when the neo is pushing back from lax it looks beautiful and exactly like a real a320 cockpit so don’t give me this pre alpha footage bullshit 🤷♂️
leland the goat 69 you have never seen a flight deck in real life ..so shut up idiot! You are used to watching only xp11, FSX with ridiculous cockpits...so you are a little bit confused about it! come back and play with your stupid video games and forget all about aviation! Bitch
What I love most is that this insane level of detail and devotion to accuracy is now the FLOOR of what we will have from now on.

omg sail plane flying is gonna be fantastic
wait does this confirm gliders?

VR VR VR MY GOD VR RIGHT? I don't care if I have to dumb it down graphically or something. Please let me live my dream!!!
Thanks for reposting! couldn't find the original
This video gave me morning wood. Girlfriend thought it was because of her. Yea honey....it's totally you.
Some people will never understand how awesome this series is! Their loss lol.
I no longer fly real light aircraft , this package will relight my engines... thats for sure !
GOD DAMN, I can see how much this guy loves this game. I guess this'll be my first flight sim.
Thanks. This is awesome, so many computing systems working in the background. This is Simulator to the S.
Omfg yes. Simulation of supercells. Flying the Florida hurricanes is going to be awesome.
Genius! Pure genius work! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!🤗🤗🤗🇨🇦

:)
Without a doubt. I plan on investing a considerable amount of time and money that I don't have for this.

I love X-Plane, but this makes it obsolete.
Likewise. Serious choice of words bro
Ya I agree, but concerning the aerodynamics, this is mostly not new. We already have this for years in xplane.
ph1p0 True. But this is probably X-Planes biggest strength. So it's not negative to be on par with that one. For most of the rest, like graphics, scenery, weather, almost certain high quality payware addons -> FS2020 > XP.
already have, yup
Will there be crashes like real ones or just plane bumping kn the ground?
yes the way it did not crash on fsx was just disappointing. even if they didnt program crashes were to be accurate anything is better then a pop up message saying you crashed
The airplane manufacturers wouldn't really like seeing their licensed products blown to pieces. Same reason why GTA 5 has no branded cars either

I'm so hype on this.
Just amasing
insane details
I really really hope they will deliver what people are expecting, because they've been hyping this up so much
Only thing I want to know, what will happen if I crash into lands, mountains, buildings? There will be damage model in this game?
Will it be a long and great flight school for a Cessna type of aircraft like in mfs 2004? (i think it was 2004) I loved that. Hours of fun
X-Plane, P3D, FSX = Toyota Corolla
FS2020 = Mclaren P1
My PC = Bank account -$10,345.00

If it not on DVD. I will not buy it for sure.
lol it would take exactly 223,101 dvd`s.

I don't care about fancy graphic.. it's a game. Real simulator with real aerodynamic are better like Condor or Prepar3D
P3D aerodynamics are shit
That might be the worst a320 cockpit I've seen in a sim what happened to the one in the first trailer that looked really good?
leland the goat 69 put your glasses please
Juan Amago My glasses? Either you’ve never seen an a320 cockpit or you’re stupid I’m gonna go with stupid tho as your grammar is horrific
