I've never played F-Zero but I've always wanted a new game. There is ABSURD potential for the game with today's hardware. The competitive scene would be bigger than Smash Bros.. I've always appreciated this game for how hardcore it looks, how fast it's not afraid to go. It's nonstop, unadulterated, hypersonic, action without the constraints of trying to be easy. Every second is the adrenaline rush of simply trying to not get vaporized from the speed.
It's not like the Mario Kart games that if you fall, you're picked right back in the action, although you'll waste some time. F-Zero on the other hand isn't. You fall once or lose all your energy, that's it, game over fucking loser, start all over again. This is why I fucking hate F-Zero.
i remember having these tracks memorized like the back of my hand, all the speed boost locations, all the turns, the trouble spots where youd go flying off if you didnt take em properly. Racing down the track like the devil himself was on your bumper just to get that first place position XD this game was so challenging for me then, and so much fun!
Taking a look into the gameplay of that era might surprise you. MGS2-3, Zone of the Enders 1-2, DMC3, Metroid Prime, Halo 1, Contra: Shattered Soldier, just off the top of my head. Too many to name, really. They all look even better played on their original consoles with a pixel booster. Remasters are a scam, they always look worse than the originals.

When I was a kid I never thought to try them as I was more into the platformer genre like Spyro ratchet and clank, Jak and Daxter etc. As an adult it’s been fun finding these gems I never tried, but it’s kind of bittersweet too because I can’t help but feel like I missed out on some good shit when I was younger. Better late than never

Well, there's the F-Zero AX arcade machine. To my knowledge, Circus Circus in Las Vegas still has two of them. Southern California also used to have three of them, but their locations have all been shut down. (There was one at the Winnetka Theaters in the San Fernando Valley, another one at Tustin Lanes in Orange County, and a third one I found in San Diego that I can't remember where it was.)
I've been playing F-Zero X, and I've...sorta got the hang of it (fuck some of the course sections, though...like Slim Line in it's entirety, for example, so damn crowded), how big of a jump is GX in comparison to X...?
This was the ultimate proove for all the haters that the Gamecube outstripped the PS2 by far! I would wish for a direct sequel on a modern Nintendo Console. I am 100% sure someday it will happen!! This also even surpassed Quantum Redshifts graphics on a stronger console (xbox). This game was very siutable to make PC Kiddies cry back than, because not even PCs could offer this kind of graphics and fermate at the same time! If you wanted to destroy your PS2 let it try running that game and it starts smoke😎

Anyway, I hope you and I can enjoy it for another 17 years because apparently Nintendo lost their creativity.

Since this game came out I’ve been waiting for a better futuristic racer to come out. It never happened. This game is the pinnacle of the genre and will likely never be topped.
For some reason I really like watching gameplay of this cup the most. Fire Field - Cylinder Knot, Green Plant - Intersection, Lightning - Halfpipe, Big Blue - Ordeal: almost all of the courses are very memorable for me and/or are just really fun.
