    Salem, it's a very good video that I see for the first time,
    What does the word sparkle mean?
    Can I replace it by go,
    Or your turn is finished
    Or the is over for you when the pupil goes back to his/ her seat.

    • @Teacher-Val
      @Teacher-Val  9 місяців тому +1

      "Sparkle" means to shine brightly, to throw out sparks. Yes, you can replace the word "sparkle" with any word you want. "Go," "Now," "Your turn," anything is okay! Honestly, I don't even know why this game is called "Sparkle"... Haha. Feel free to adapt it to your needs and call it whatever you want.

    Amazing! It is so good, sir. However, I'd like to ask a question. How if the students forget the vocab shown in the flashcard (the student cannot answer). What should the student do? Go back to their seat? Thank you

      No, I help them out. I mouth the word or simply say it.

    • @Teacher-Val

      I am not sure I understand the question. Make up what words? If you refer to the sentence "My favourite colour is blue", then you change the colour with each new group of students. 🙂

    ı have noisy class 12-15 years old. what you say about it?

    • @Teacher-Val
      @Teacher-Val  2 роки тому +2

      I think it is important to set boundaries and keep them. Introduce the class rules and consequences for not following them. Identify the leader in your class and make him/her your personal helper.
      Some teachers I know use a 3-strike system. Strike 1: eye contact, say the student's name, and tell him/her that you are not happy with the behavior. Strike 2: eye contact, say the student's name and ask him to stand up (2-3 min). Strike 3: student is removed from the activity and goes to a time-out zone (5 min).
      If nothing helps, involve the school administration. Perhaps, you need to invite the student's parents to sit in one of your classes.
