Scripture clearly states that once the woman knows (intimately) another man, her original husband cannot take her anymore.
In other words, God believes that a man who is made in His image deserves waaay more than being 2nd best in the heart of an adultress.

My wife divorced me 20 years ago, I just didn't know it, or maybe I left her, unsure, so I am leaving it all up to God. We did the same thing with bickering on raising our own 2 boys. We both wanted power to raise them our own way. I am still in the marriage and it seems lifeless at times, but by loving myself the way Christ sees me, then and only then, can my wife see me love her, through a divorce or not.

Marriage can be ordained by God but in enter in and people split up. So yes, make sure but don't think that there aren't variables that work against marriage. It is hard work and definitely takes the willful commitment of both persons.

I agree ,I'm divorced never felt married because before and even at the alter a voice was telling me not to marry him but I did ,the verbal abuse started 6 months after, then the physical, emotional, even sexual after 6 years I left but he told everyone is was in the wrong I didn't deny, I still hope 10 years that he'd change but he never did, but this couple had no reason she just allowed the stress of the babies to consume her, but thank God they found they way back.

This is a wonderful as well as inspiring story. My ex wanted out, took the kids to her home state, and sent me divorce papers. We both got remarried but her husband died three years into their marriage. We are both cordial and great coparents. I learned no matter who you marry, there will be test and trials. I had to turn back to God to work on my current marriage because the honey definitely has run out of the moon. Sometimes I get frustrated because I am guilty of looking at what appears to be "other people's successful marriages" but realized that I know better being I have spent almost 14 years being married between two women and definitely know that people make things appear to be what they are really not. God is definitely the answer.

While I am truly happy things worked out in the end, I am just so shocked at the divorce rates among christians. I grew up in a village where people who didn't even know God would live together "forever" once they made their commitments to each other as couples even though they were not officially married. And it's really a shame when christians start giving all the great sounding reasons for divorce. I will never understand this culture I see today!

Just because people go to church and even often and preach God a lot doesn’t mean they truly have him in their heart or follow his word. A lot of people just do what they were raised to believe or do what they think they should without real work.
If I may, let me share some light from what I have learned. If you live life w/o God why would satan bother with you or your family... your eternity belongs to him. However if you belong to God the enemy who btw is satan will try to destroy you and your family just because he hates God's children. He spends most of his time attacking God's ppl (Christians) That is the reason why christians should always be clinged to the Word of God live according to Scriptures and pray for His divine protection, mercy, peace and love. Satan's strategy is to steal, kill and destroy [John 10:10]. But God promises never to leave you nor forsake you.[Deut 31:6]

Regarding their marriage...loke most Christians they dont fast and pray regularly throughout the week. They follow the worlds way of doing a relationship so they have the same exact results.

This is why I will never have children. The children aren’t at fault, but if I feel I’m not ready, I won’t just have children. It’s stupid to push a spouse to have kids when they aren’t ready. Both should be on the same page.
