Thanks for your videos Daniel. However, if one can secure a full time job during the summer holiday and make your employer understand that you are a student and would have to switch back to 20hrs work during the term time, some would be willing to accept you and when school resumes adjust your shift by giving you a full day shift and half day shift for the week. But just few especially in the care sector where there is always shortage of staffs and employers become desperate. I am part of one and they agreed on my 20hrs after working full time with them during the holiday, of which I would go back to full time again during the Christmas holiday. Furthermore, it still depends on how useful you are to them and how much they don't want to loose you. But I would advice you break your back and go into such with any employer, make sure they can sponsor your tier two visa so that after your studies you won't have to start searching for sponsorship. So it is an issue of I am doing this because of the long term reward because full time jobs in care especially pay lower than agency jobs. By the way, my worst experience in the was in London, taking a job as a bar tender at Westminster during the winter and closing at 1am, coming out and walking for just few minutes snd my phone went off. I was clueless on the bus to take or where to take the bus or how to get my phone up, coupled with the cold. I used my tongue to count my teeth that night and understood what they meant my ABROAD NOR EASY O. At the end, i recalls asking someone to help me check with his map how to get my destination, and I had to take three buses. He checked only the first bus which I took to Trafalgar square and then I tried to find another way to check map going to north London, by then I could not feel my hand again😂, it was already past 3am, and I had a train to catch at 5:30am to Newcastle. Ladies and gentlemen, I emtef the final bus going to London north and based on the fact that it was a long ride with about 40 stops(London stops can be something else), I relaxed and slept, only for me to wake up in a strange location and found out that I have passed my bus stop whuch was 30mins walk. I came down and started trekking and speaking in tongues becuse that was all I could do at that time(call on God to save me from abroad life). I got home around past 4, tookfew things and headed to the train station at Kingscross, another dimension of cold at the train station. I couldn't bear it and I had to use my little money to buy black coffee(I didn't know black coffee was not sweet) It was bitter and expensive, just because my train was almost leaving and I needed to be warm. My dear, when I got back to Newcastle that day, I was looking like a homeless man at Eldon square asking for spare change😂. And here comes my landlord asking for his rent because that day was the end of the month, I gave him the remaining cash I had and the remaining money in my account to complete the rent because uk landlord nor wan hear say tomorrow or next week. I went back into my bed to start waiting for the money I have worked ooo, else I wont leave the house o😂😂😂😂. It's always rough at the beginning if the journey guys, mind you, I had to go to London to work because I have secured a Job in Newcastle then and the month was coming to an end.

Thank you Daniel. I have gained a lot from your channel and usually look out for your post. I just moved into York in the UK, schooling in the University of York.
You can start applying for a tier 2 visa when it's 3 months to your study end date. You should also contact your university, requesting for the date your study ends. Then send it to your company so that they'll give you a "planned" start date. Usually after your study end date. Then, your tier 2 visa application should have been approved before your study ends, so you can have a smooth transition.
Yes, good advice. But remember that your responsibility as a care/support worker starts immediately your visa (as a skilled worker) is approved and you have limited "notice period" before you should start the care/Support work.
It is well Daniel. I'm also making moves and decisions. I'm planning on taking apprenticeship gain experience on the PSW and get a professional job that sponsors Visa. Hmmm . Its is well
Thanks Daniel for your inspirational and motivational videos. I am super excited to inform you that I have gotten my student visa. I have to land in Liverpool next week Saturday. Thanks once again.

Weldone Daniel. I will like to also know, what if your dependant was able to get Tier 2 visa sponsor from care? Can you switch on that visa? What's the implication?
Thank you for your great videos. They are very informative. My question is can you choose to work on your own if you are a financial trader for instance? Instead of doing the 20hrs work? Will it affect subsequent Visa application if you trade online for yourself? Any idea on tax implications working and earning money online?

You know I’ve been thinking this is why everyone wears sneakers in the UK. There’s a lot of walking around town. Walk to you nearest bus stop, walk to train station etc. lol
Could be frustrating. The first thing you need to do is to find time to understand the map of where you live via google map (Zoom in at will). And also look up places you need to go on the map b4 u leave home. Look for nearest signs , roundabouts, shops etc.

My experience in the UK has been relatively okay. the only thing is that i am spending quite a lot of money on Nigerian food. Also, can you talk about bringing dependents into the UK.
Yes, African food is quite expensive.. I will make a video soon on different ways to bring in dependant soon on the channel Please don’t forget to hit the subscribe button
Yes Daniel please make a video on how to bring your Dependants to the UK with a student visa. I'm now in The University of Salford, Manchester, UK fro my Masters after watching your channel and following your advice since January2022. I got to UK 3weeks ago and still looking for a part time job due to some circumstances beyond my control. A side this I'm doing well. Thank you so much Daniel!
Yes it is quite expensive because it has to be imported and then taxed under the UK law. So, I suggest you look for close substitute amongst the ones available for the locals OR you do a bulk purchase from Nigeria. Ask someone to shop for you, then DHL it.
If you decide to switch to the tier 2 while you came in with the tier 4 study visa, would you need to come back home to reapply for the tier 2 or you can apply from there?
Hi Daniel, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Is it allowed for you to keep a full time job in Nigeria that allows you to work remotely from the UK while studying? Please share your thoughts.
