- Changing a Piston on a MAN 6S80 ME-C Two Stroke Marine Diesel Engine. It is an Inline-6 Engine with 27,060 kW (36,800 HP) at 78 RPM. The Piston was changed for regular Inspection and Piston Ring Replacement after 12,000 Running Hours and was overhauled in the following Days. This Process was repeated on the other five Cylinders in the following Months.

Was there any significant wear found on the old piston, and was it re-used later on? Or was it truly worn out?
Hello, I need to know what HP steam engine AND TYPE of turbine i would need to power a 75kva transformer and delivers 692A @ 240V Single phase.
Then you're completely wrong here. This Video is about a Diesel Engine, and I only run and maintain such Plants and have no Idea about Design and Construction. All I can tell is that you probably need at least 80 kW, and the Torque/Speed Stats depend on your Generator.
I can't wait for the next generation of engineers - those who not only can't do their own homework, but actually believe youtube comments are a great resource for complex engineering decisions. We're doomed.
So I was thinking about rebuilding my v6 car engine....
