@@ThePickledGuy yeh you must Mr pickled. But make sure you get Branstons as that’s the benchmark British brand. Its almost like sweet and sour taste, I get the feeling you like piccalilli. Oh and when you order it make sure you order the chunky not smooth, because the smooth is more like a spread. The chunky has vegetables in there and too me that’s what makes it so nice😋
@@matty6848 I have a couple Branston pickle videos too. Ate it straight from the jar (people got mad about that lol) then I made a cheese sandwich and people got mad because we don’t butter our sandwiches in the states and I used the wrong cheese 😂
@@ThePickledGuy lol sod the people who get mad. I’m a Englishman and I eat Branston straight from the jar. So if it’s ok for a Englishman to eat English pickle from the jar, it’s definitely ok for a American to do exactly the same. Keep chowing down from the jar👍🏻😂
Put it with cheese ☺️ we don’t eat it like this … also I’ll be honest I don’t understand how you got Smokey and beans from this 😅 maybe try it with cheese in a sandwich. That’s the way we do it x
Not sure i'd eat so much straight from the jar like that. It reminds me of people trying marmite like peanut butter. Better spread on a cheese or ham sandwich.
Wanted to try it. Had to buy a 2 pack off Amazon. One bottle sitting unopened in the pantry, and the other sitting in the fridge virtually untouched since I tried a spoonful, when it first arrived over a year ago. It was bad. Don't even know why they call it pickle. Tastes nothing like Claussen or Vlassic.
😂 you are supposed to use it sparingly on like a grilled cheese or with cheese and crackers. It's used to cut through the sharpness of certain cheeses. It's the same when I've seen americans trying marmite and they've chugged down a spoonful of it 😂 let me say even as a britt that loves marmite it makes me gag to see someone scoff a spoonful 😅
@dresden5060 Oh man, I tried marmite for the first time right around the time I tried Branston. You are right, you only need a little bit. Tasted good on toast and butter. Not a fan of either really, but would definitely choose marmite over Branston.
Omg! That's my English grandma's favourite! She has it in a cheese sandwich :)
Put it with a cheese sandwich
Have you tried Branstons piccalilli? Beautiful on a ham sandwich😋
Not yet, I will have to order some.

You’re not supposed to eat it by itself! Those damn Brits eat it with cheese and bread

Never had it before, so figured that was the best way to try it!

Little goes a long way...need it with cheese and butter bread. It's a British thing :)
