I remember helping my buddies move from Manhattan to Brooklyn. No nice brokers. No elevators. Big furniture. Tight, winding stairs. Pain in the arse!! Been there Sara, I feel you. As much as I love owning my home now, I had a lot of fun in that city and I certainly miss it.

I have a gorgeous new spacious studio apartment right in the middle of Denver...less than $900 a month...and you can walk to the store and buy weed.
I'd rather live there than nyc.
This place is overpriced, overrated,
and is rude , dirty and full of snobs and bums. And for the pleasure of living in this hell hole you are overcharged on everything you buy and people struggle to keep those plates spinning causing them to be stressed out and constantly pissed off until they get heart attacks and die clutching a blue cross blue shield card.
....but is it in New York?

Yikes!! I had no idea finding a place in NYC can be that difficult and overwhelming! Something I take for granted here in Florida. My little sister is planning to move there in the future so this is a great video to show her to put that reality into perspective. Huge congrats on your new place!!
I'm so happy for you!! It's hard when a place is no longer home.. My wife and our two girls have moved many times also....due to my profession and education. Thankfully we've had great people in our lives that helped us too! Especially family. Have safe travels! Enjoy! Blessings!!
Good choice on the apartment. Got a bit of a view, but what a process to qualify. Here in Vancouver B.C. You just have to get a credit check or have references, job, or guaranteed income that shows them that you are working. Pretty standard process and easy. Rents are getting up there though. We used to gasp at NY rents and still do. The average 1 bedroom here is anywhere from $750 to $1500. If you live right in Vancouver, anywhere from $1100 to $1500 and sometimes more depending on the building. There's some fun facts for ya.

Same here in Toronto, credit check, references, do you work and first and last months rent. NY is crazy.
Here in Sweden we have another lovely system. You do need to show some income, usually just so you are above minimum living standard after rent is payed. And, they'll check with your previous landlord that you've been paying the rent on time and no one complained about you having parties and alike. Not a problem, right? Just one small tricky thing though; you have to register in the line ca 30 years before you'd like to have an apartment. And once you use your time in the line then it's gone and you'd start over again.....
But hey, rent is really reasonable! Especially if the house is old. If it's new then it's 3x more, but the ones that are 3-400 years old are almost for free. Just 40 years in that line without taking any other contracts!
Sounds really good except for the 30 years. I guess once you find a place to rent there you don't give it up. I've read and heard some good things about the standard of living in Sweden, but didn't know about renting. If I had the kind of income they need you to make in NY to rent I'd be moving to small town USA and buying a place instead.

I haven't finished watching, but as a UA-cam creator I know apartment C is a No, simply because it doesn't have a big enough window. Natural light is such a big deal.

Wow. Beautiful apartment 😍. That's crazy on the space New Yorkers live in. I'm over here looking for 1000sq ft apartments like it's a norm. But even then down here in VA is no where the cost in NY. I defiantly have to experience the NY life one day.
