- This is part 2 of the no communication on this 2007 Honda Civic. Specifically No communication with the Gauge Control Module. Customer is complaining of all his lights on the dash, no RPMs, No speedometer, and the temperature gauge not working. Stay tuned for part 3...

The gauge control module is the gateway on the Honda B-can. That’s why you get all those gauge communication codes when there is a problem with the can bus
I love technicians who are just straight forward
Best tutorial I've seen on this honda fuel pump replacement !!!!
If you go to component testing on your scanner or Mitchell, it should give you a good waveform. If not , go to pico 7 on your laptop or computer. Everything is there. Great job ....
Including setting , etc.
hello I wanted to know if it is the dashboard that plays the role of gateway on the hondas I have one that no diagnostic device can enter
With both the ECM and the gauge control module plugged in and vehicle off for about a minute or two u should have 60 ohms on pins 6 and 14 of the DLC. There are two terminating resistors in parallel usually either in the pcm and bcm or sometimes the pcm & the cluster itself which it looks like u have. If u unplug one and u have 120 ohms your "physical layer" or terminating resistors in those modules are good to go. If all is well after that unplug every module on the Fcan line out while pinned into 6 and 14 and see what happens.
Full Circle Diagnostics part 3 is coming up. Stay tuned Homie 👌🏼
Ok so I have a similar issue but mine won’t run… where did you get on this???
I have 9th gen si was flashing to stock tune a flashpro an took a crap while flashing to stock tune now the car don't start no signal to the starter an help thank you
Not bad for your first time! I would start unplugging modules, to see which one is elevating your signals(since it only happens when you turn the key on).You can access the bus from the data link connector. But at this point at least you've ruled out the cluster. Id ohm out the bus with the gauge disconnected while it's out. Or look for 60 at the dlc with it connected. Just my two cents. 👍
Super Mario Diagnostics wait for it 😎
Super Mario Diagnostics Sounds like you already watched my part 3, or we just think alike 👍🏼
