- Its is time!!! We officially finished the rebuilding process of our 2018 Dodge Charger Pursuit vehicle. We couldn't be happier with the way it looks and how aggressive it turned out. Merica Freedomland this “molding” part doesn’t look too hard , they paint is the hardest 😒 in my town people like don’t care about cars so body shops here charge sooo much , I asked them to paint my mirrors black “the car came stock with silver mirrors , so I bought a new set for $300 unpainted” the body shop wants $1000 to paint them just black

Generational thing. Louvers were hot on Camaros and Mustangs in the 70s. Even the Mustang II had it. (aka Pinto 2)

Same here . . . everything but that. Just doesnt look right on that particular car AND some of it has to do with the way that louver way made (cheap).
The first factory street cars I ever saw with an OEM rear window louver was the original BOSS 302 BACK IN THE LATE 60's / EARLY 70's. Look up some pics and you will better see what I tried to say above . . . no offence.
They seem to never know when's too much. The louver on the Dodge, they plan on making the whole rear of the GT3 458 out of carbon fiber, the stupid wheels on the GMC... the list goes on.

The interior looks really great. The back looks really nice too, especially the combined bottom section. I too am not a fan of the louvers, but if it does fly off then you are right, "it was just meant to be!". Great job guys!

Hellcact wheels in black on the cop car. Be careful on the boost, the 5.7 internals can't handle to much. Mainly the rods and valves.

Louvers where real popular in the 70's and 80's for looks, and to reduce temps.

Painted aftermarket parts looks great! Loving it. You guys asked for suggestions. To complete the aggressive look I would add some sporty side skirts and a front bumper lip spoiler both painted black as well. I think it would look bad as*!
In finland that loover thing is called ”huoranportaat” = ”whore’s stairs”. Idk why but that’s what we call it

The ladies just crawl all over those muscle cars, in the 80's and 90' if you were louvered up there was always someone in the passenger seat.
Honda CRX had an option for that.
Those louvres were very popular in Europe in the late 1970's and early 1980's.
My uncle used to have them on his Opel Manta B GT/E 😎 (for all you Americans, that car was like the Chevy Camaro IROC Z28 of Europe, same sort of image and reputation)
Not so sure if i like them on a modern car though.

If you guys want to get a better paint job down, without so much trash getting in it, wet the floor of your shop down every time you paint. All that dust and dirt and what not is flying into the air while you're moving around and landing in your coatings.

Removing the DODGE letters and tinting the lights was the first thing I did to my charger. Looks great! I also tinted the side markers.
