This is a street photo duel. We take turns shooting (Andrew with a Rollei 35, Denae with a Fuji x100s) and compare the results. Who is the better street photographer? Andrew, with his technical prowess? Or Denae, with her artistic instincts? You decide.

2am photo "walk" (drive) doing some night photography. But more importantly, I discuss one of the most important attributes of a user experience / product designer. The principle of mindfulness or of awareness when it comes to systems and processes, let alone product design.

This is my "secret" way home when I need or want to shoot landscape photos. I'm surprised I never see or run into you too! The alleyway was my first fashion shoot I ever did in Provo! Hahaha! The Rollei 35 is something I have been wanting to shoot with for a long time! I would give it to Danae for location finds, but you get the award for better perspectives! Great job you two!
Haha awesome. I won't say which wins cuz I just bought a rollei 35s which will be my main camera for a while.
Awesome photo duel! I have the X100T but I also shoot film but I'll say Andrew is the winner for me. Denae is very artistic though. Great Video!
:) Thanks!
Throw Back Thursday and this came up while I was creating a softbox light stand for my next photo shoot! The places we both shoot from! We are like mirrors of each others thoughts! The only places that I haven't from are the places now you are getting down in St. George! Hahahaha! I miss shooting with you!
Feels so long ago! :)
Gotta say Denae took it for me. I liked her composition a little better- and it looked like the film shots were a little overexposed to me.
Thanks for watching/voting Ces.
You can't deny how sharp that little Rollei lens is. What developer are you using on the film HC-110?
I've been using Ilford microphen.
maybe I'll give that soup a shot after my HC-110 supply is depleted. I do have a question regarding your night time photography with the Rollei. I know from previous posts that you use hp5+ which is rated at 400. Are you pushing it to 1600 to attain that shot of the garage? I can't seem to get good low light shots with my Rollei with a Tessar lens.
No I didn't push at all. I wanted to, but forgot on that roll. But for that garage shot, I did use a tripod and a very low shutter speed, of course.
Dont get in trouble !!!!
Great to see a man still interested in his wife's tush.
