- I can't believe it's over 2.5 years since I went to this specific DVAP location. I found all sorts of treasures, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

These cars are so beautiful. They make me realize what we’ve lost, true Americans, SUPURB design, character, tangible physical controls, things that make us feel alive and grounded in reality. I can’t stand minimalism, and this digital era, it’s a nightmare for me a 22 year old, can’t imagine how hard it is for our grandparents generation. Love these video Tyson!
Thanks for checking it out!
New subscriber. Please make more videos like this! I appreciate the foreign classics too.
Awesome, will do, thank you!
Some cool cars here! As a Canadian, I can not believe the lack of rust on these!! 🤣
Haha, these were pretty rusty by my standards!
Hey Tyson I always enjoy these DVAP walk around videos. Doesn't matter what you're showing it's just neat to see all those old cars from the past. All the places these cars have seen. Thanks for taking us along!
Hey you're welcome! Thanks for coming along!
Thanks for the ride along. You said what i was thinking. Imagine them being all new and the stories they can tell. The 2 GM keys are memorable for me as well. My first car was a 1987 Cavalier Z24... I have to say Z24 haha as it was a "step up" from the normal Cavalier.. jks. The Imperial is quite an impressive car to see in person. This past summer I came across a black on black Imperial in Toronto Canada. This particular example has a unique story. It was ordered by a US Senator but for reasons I cant recall he either didn't take delivery of it or it was sold soon after delivery due to the Watergate scandal. The vehicle was sold off and eventually the car made its way to Canada.
Interesting backstory!
Good to see the ILX is still getting the occasional bit of exercise. While there's a fair bit of tat lying around that's only useful for parts, so many of those cars are super solid and would make great project cars for someone. Hopefully a few of them go on to live another life.
Yep, the ILX still gets used every week! Good hearing from you Adam!
As a classic car fanatic (in addition to Acura / Honda), so much eye candy here! Love the rare Lincoln Continental 2 door coupe at 23:24. Thank you for sharing, Tyson.
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed!
Hey... just noticed you've hit 15k subs! Congratulations Tyson... always enjoy your weekly videos. Cheers!
Hey thanks! I know, I was happy to hit that!
Awesome 70s era Pontiac 6 door limousine! Those were built by a company called Armbruster Stageway out of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Wow, good to know!!
You opened with a 76 Buick Century Pace Car Edition. Pretty rare and cool find. Definitely a cool one for me
I figured it was something special!
To answer your question about Bradley, they were a Kit Car that used the vw beetles chassis and motor. I think it was just a direct bolt on to the chassis.
Ahhh nice!
That old-school Monte Carlo with the h-shifter brought back some serious memories - my uncle had one until a driver t-boned him at an intersection (he was fine, the car, sadly, was not). I really enjoyed this walkthrough - like you said, these cars all have stories to tell. Speaking of cars that can tell stories, how’s the ILX holding up?
That ILX is just bulletproof! I use it at least once or twice a week usually. Slowly creeping up on 250,000
3:20 I love that 71/72 Grand Prix!!!! You don't get to see very many on the road these days, and when you do find one for sale, the seller wants a ton more than what they appraise for. Do they cars with clean titles, or are they all salvage titles??? I am asking because where I live, in Illinois, it's very difficult and expensive to get a salvage title changed over, and you can't get license plates for cars with salvage titles.
Definitely worth calling to ask them, from what I recall in my conversation, some of the cars have clean titles.
henk and you video ❤👍💣
Thanks for watching!
On the gold Eldorado at 29:50, the one with plastic filler panel at each front corner is a '67. Customers and dealers complain that the filler panels did not fit well. In 1968 they replaced them with parking lights / turn signals which also looked better anyways. :) 1967 was also the first year the Eldorado was front-wheel drive.
I knew someone would explain that for me! Thank you!
Hi Tyson! Have been loving your videos for over a year now. I just wanted to share, I have a somewhat rare 2011 facelift TSX Base black on black that I've been driving for the past couple years.
It's got arounds 161k miles but it's beautiful and I really treat this car like it's my child. However, I might be done with college in the United States soon and may have to let go of it mid next year.
If you're ever looking for one of these someday, please feel free to reply to this comment here and I'll be happy to show you the car...my heart sinks thinking about trading it into a dealer who's going to be selling it at auction and I'd love for it to have a nice home with you instead.
Or, if you're in the Northeast Area and would like to just do a car review, happy to accommodate that as well!
Thank you for reaching out! I don't think I will be in the market for a TSX next year, but you never know. Contact me when it gets a little bit closer. Sounds like a beautiful ride!
A true testament to American made automobiles of the 60's, 70's
and early 80's. Gas guzzling, air polluting junk. By the way, did any of the odometers exceed 75,000 miles?
Haha, I should have looked at more of the odos.
Road trip idea. Go check out the Dwarf Car Museum in Maricopa.
Yes! Been on my list for a while...
Love junk yards
Me too!
Time stamp 16:24. I will let Stephen King know of this vehicle which he could feature for his next horror film. Do you have to sign a waiver at the entrance to spare the car-yard owner from liability? Some of that heavy metal seems to be teetering. I bet those cars come alive at night…
No waivers here!
CS = Cutlass Supreme
Sounds about right!
Have you ever encountered a hostile animal (i.e. coyote, snake, scorpion)?
I haven't! Surprisingly.
Heres what I have
1994 Acura legend GS
1989 Acura Legend LS
1990 Buick Lesabre
1987 Chrysler 5th avenue
1989 Oldsmobile royale
That is an awesome collection. Would love to see some videos
You dont have a 89 legend do you?
I currently have an '86 but I haven't posted the video about it yet
Tyson what are the price range that they sold for and is there any chance to chat withyou on Fb or whatsapp
I think you will have to call DVAP 800-905-8024
