Yesss! So many wonderful black movies from back in the day are being erased nowadays. I cherish this channel and a few others that keep it alive!
R.I.P John Witherspoon
A real culture filled movie, some great all time actors. These were real hood movies. God bless all for reading and watching.
The black woman in this film and I mean ALL 👸🏾👸🏾👸🏾😍🫦
you serious?
This movie was loaded with sitcom all stars.
This got Primm's Hood Cinema written all over it...
😂😅 I'm not ready... I can hear him cussing the 90s narration, Dwayne Martin (always playing ball in a movie), the Asian lady stereotype & Roofio (from Hook😉)...
I USED TO LOVE THIS MOVIE & I know Primm would tear it to shreds 🤣 paperchinAHboi🤦🏾♀️
I can hear bruh now going in 😭😭😭
It would be too easy the jokes write themselves. I could do the same thing anyone could :).
Mannnnnn I was thinking. They Smoking car sence would be a good 1😂😅

Pam Greer is a queen and Zuko is the King....

58 minutes in when the whole neighborhood was practicing Tai Chi was powerful. That's an energy shift for real.

@2:20-2:29, IS THAT BO JACKSON AT DA PULPIT!!!? GOD DAMN!!! 🤣🤣🤣 REELBLACK GOT DAT FO YA!!! 💯✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Thank you! I've been trying to find this movie. I have always liked the message around race, culture, and identity in this movie.
Man this is an amazing movie. I wish we lived in a world like this. I just watched "The Wanderers" a white movie from the 70s and was thoroughly unimpressed and quiet disturbed by the innuendo and amount of comments supporting it whilst a movie like this goes unnoticed.
I haven’t seen this movie in years and I was thinking about it not to long ago. Thank you sooooo much for posting it 🥰
How did I end up watching this?! I finished the whole thing 😂
Memories...
Thanks for sharing the movie-it was fun and funny! 😊

This Movie is Classic!!
First time seeing this. Boy the comedic appeal in this.
This movie was filmed in 3 weeks. I guess they were on a tight budget. Only know because I did some research and Dante was 20 almost 21 in this movie but looked roughly 16/17.
Black may not crack, but Asian don't raisin.
I was 12 years old when this came out and I never seen this one 🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣
This was pure fun watching this
Three years later from this release Dante B. who played the character Julian Lee was the lead in the film the "Debut" using the same stereotypes for a phillpino version film. There was a basketball showdown in that film,, they used the keep it real blackness theme without black characters.
Damn.
This is a classic I was 4 years old
You're about my same age now then.
I haven't seen this movie in forever!!! I thought the Filipino guy was so cute! Then I end up marrying a man that's part Filipino. Lol!!

Was a good positive movie..is just i thought at some point the parents would tell about adoption or at least for there to be a way to let the audience know whether he knows or not ...but im glad there was a change over part to the movie were most of the people that were negative towards other culture slowly started to change and accept different people is a good thing to see
