Glad I found a movie to watch this movie..I was six in '97,so this my first time seeing this movie ..Anything with Pam Grier is a classic Shoutout to the Cuh Tone Loc
People don't understand how funny pop's witherspoon was 🙏🏽 its not many not even the elite comedians that was as funny as he was love all his movies can't say he was not funny or played a bad role in a movie always kept me 😂😂 even watching this after years I busted out 😂😂
You got that right and I'm just a young young generation z I ❤️ the 90s culture I never get tired of watching 90s movies I can watch them all day from fakin da funk boyz n the hood to set it off waiting to exhale Menace to society clueless the best man living large and so many more
Man this is an amazing movie. I wish we lived in a world like this. I just watched "The Wanderers" a white movie from the 70s and was thoroughly unimpressed and quiet disturbed by the innuendo and amount of comments supporting it whilst a movie like this goes unnoticed.
Holy shit!! They used to play this on USA back in the 90s so much!!! USA had a sick ass rotation for random movies ever. Too bad it's all cop shows these days. I remember spending one Saturday glued to it cuz they showed "Friday" at 8am, "The Breaks" at 11am, "Trippin" at 1pm, "Players Club" at 3pm, this movie at 6pm and "they premiered "Next Friday" at 8pm. Had to record it on a vhs lol. If you were a teen in 2000, USA was a problem. Love this upload!
A 90s gem with an All star cast pam grier Ernie Hudson Dante basco Nell Carter Tatyana Ali tichina Arnold Johnny Witherspoon Duane Martin Margaret Cho Reynoldo Rey
The original MR RASPY voice But Jadakiss owns it now lol #ToneLoc ❤💐 It would be so refreshing to hear some of his stories working with Robin Harris, Tupac, John Witherspoon, Nell Carter, Louie Anderson, George Wallace & Ricky Harris💐💐💐😇😇😇❤🎬 R.I.P🕊🌈
Three years later from this release Dante B. who played the character Julian Lee was the lead in the film the "Debut" using the same stereotypes for a phillpino version film. There was a basketball showdown in that film,, they used the keep it real blackness theme without black characters.
Was a good positive movie..is just i thought at some point the parents would tell about adoption or at least for there to be a way to let the audience know whether he knows or not ...but im glad there was a change over part to the movie were most of the people that were negative towards other culture slowly started to change and accept different people is a good thing to see
This movie was filmed in 3 weeks. I guess they were on a tight budget. Only know because I did some research and Dante was 20 almost 21 in this movie but looked roughly 16/17.
I LOVE (1997) is A fantastic year. I can only talk and think about the good things only. Especially I miss the 90s a lot. The things in the 90s only. Not 🚫 the bad things.
