- After an underwhelming result for me, I decided to plug it and drill it for Angel, so here's her review for the new Motiv Hyper Venom Bowling Ball!

Love the higher camera angle
This
Agreed.
Really like the new angle, will be a big help for less experienced viewers to see the shape. And honestly, at 3 minutes into this and I think it looks way way better for her than it did for you Luke.
New camera angle is good. Creates a different look 👍🏼
This actually for some reason was my favorite review on this channel- and I don’t really even have a particular interest in this ball. I think this format is superb. It felt just straight up enjoyable to watch, not that the other reviews were unenjoyable or anything. I really liked the mic and higher camera angle. Well done Luke & Angle! 🙌
Just have to say your plug work is immaculate, per usual.
+1 for liking the higher angle. Pink Snek looks great for Angel.
Enjoyed this review immensely. Camera angle was cool too. This Hyper Venom looked great for Angel. I saw some nice forgiveness with it. Thumbs up Luke!
Same, also enjoyed this, including all of Angel's little sounds after each shot 😀
Higher camera is good. Lane view is also good too.
This ball looks really good but much like the fatal as you said it will be one you either match up with or don't.
I like the higher camera angle.
Big fan of the new higher angle, and thanks for taking the opportunity to speak to the impact of plugging & redrilling.
This boopsy-ass holiday music is what I imagine is playing in Angel’s head all day 😂
you would be correct!!! He played it for me before posting and I was bopping in the office listening to it!
Angel and a low RG low diff symmetrical ball... pretty much knew this would be good, but even with that this looked super impressive!
This is new for you two, I really like it.
Liked both camera angles and the camera slightly in the frame of the farther shot not a problem imo. Thanx!
If the camera works well where it shows up in the shot, it looks fine.
Like the new look and mic 👍🏾
Great vid. Angel has a nice predictable shot that really separates responsiveness and strength. A ball review from a two hander or EJ Tackett means nothing to me. Btw I bought a Widow 3.0 because I thought it looked good off Luke’s hand.
High camera angle is awesome
Looking like a Goat ball for Angel
Hyper Venom looked great for her. Looked like on this pattern she had room for error.
Have you drilled your Kinetic Cobalt yet, Luke?
Nope, haven't felt like I needed to yet. I'm kind of sitting on it and waiting for them to put out another Kinetic . . because I'm imagining I'm going to like and throw it a lot, and I prefer to compare new balls to new balls, not a new ball to one with 50 games on it. I just haven't quite had a good enough excuse to drill it yet.
@@LukeRosdahl My house shot is a bit shorter and is a custom created pattern. It is not the typical house shot - a bit harder. Even my pin under drilling is very angular there. For being about as close to symmetrical as an assym gets, it is very angular off the dry. I assume it is the hk 22 w the QR 7 additive. I basically have to move left and try and stay straight up the back of the ball (even with my pin down) and it still angles hard and drives through the 8-9 - rarely ever leaving a corner pin. I need to try these two Cobalt’s at the other house that has a more traditional house pattern.
@@willjames6437 for what it's worth my Cobalt moves a TOOOOOON in high friction environments so that doesn't really shock me!
@@ShimWreckerEnterprises What surface do you have on yours?
I am thinking of going down to 2 or 3000 to tame the motion down some. It is the only ball I have ever gone through the middle and gotten 4 pins with and it has happened twice on shots I thought were pretty good.
@@willjames6437 I like mine on the shinier side, usually just a quick whack of 4000 on a spinner to keep it from getting too lane shined and it's pretty happy!
You say that the Ruby is not as early as the Hyper. I see the hyper as being longer and cleaner than the Ruby (based on this video). Looks to me like the ruby wants to start picking up almost as soon as it hits the lane, as well she has to stand further left to delay the hook enough to be useful. She is 5 left with the Ruby with her feet. Whereas the Hyper is going nearly straight until it hits friction. Maybe you have a more informed opinion in that you could see them both in person and it gave you a diff impression than just looking at the video? What am I missing?
After putting it all together I expected comments to this effect, kudos to you for having sharp eyes in that direction. However, if you watch it again though, Angel was in a bit of an armswing funk during the Ruby filming, so the reason she was further left with it was because she was throwing it slower, getting around it more, and getting more revs on it. Or basically, the difference in how she's throwing the ball is contributing to the difference between the two balls. This is why I added my own experience with the two balls as well, I think an accurate difference would have been easier to see from my perspective, but for the sake of this video, I had to work with what I had.
I was going to use the IQ Pink she filmed for to show the difference too, because that was recent, but pearl IQ vs pearl Venom is the closer comparison on paper, plus an overseas ball comparison or reference wasn't going to be relevant to anyone.
I could make my own version to clear things up, but Hyper vs Ruby isn't something many people would be interested in seeing I don't think.
@@LukeRosdahl Thanks for the reply mate. No need to make a whole other video for my benefit. What you say makes perfect sense. I was just starting to doubt my own eyes.
As an aside, the Hyper looks like a god ball for Angel. So much room on a shot that doesn't give you THAT much room
Yeah, Chromium isn't difficult, but it isn't THAT free either
“Now i have all the pink ball”… Luke? 👀
Another video coming soon . .
Can we purchase the panda shirt that Angel is wearing?
Soon! I had them add it to my signature jersey list on Coolwick, so as soon as they get it built in, it'll be available!
Higher angle is way better can see ball motion much better
