    When you fold down the Handle bars there are little grub screws which you can screw anti-clockwise to take away the play/movement

    i'm thinking about getting one , 25kph aint great though (15 mph) , but then , would you want any more considering it rattles and not having suspension either .... the bigger 1600w only does 15 mph also (25 kph) , but they can be de restricted , still undecided , but least i got to see one better with your video , hardly any on these which is odd

      Andy M on yes I couldn’t find any videos at all when I bought it. It’s 20mph top speed which is plenty fast enough for what I want to do, it’s very happy cruising at 15/16mph for long distances and I also was concerned about the lack of suspension. I actually don’t notice it, the tyres are pretty chunky and the seat, if you use it is really comfy. I was most drawn to this model because of the weight, 28kg with the lithium batteries is pretty light, has plenty of range and you can still get it into a car without breaking your back.
      It’s certainly really well put together too. If you live somewhere flat you’ll love it, if you live somewhere hilly then be prepared for it to slow down on steep hills.
      Also the bigger ones there are two versions of the 1600w one, a lithium and a lead acid version. The Lithium one does 45kph and has a much longer range, but a lot of the websites seem to miss quote the figures, I did loads of hunting and research and nearly went for the 1600w lithium version but decided I would go with smaller easier to store and cheaper version!

    • @AndyM65
      @AndyM65 6 років тому +1

      yeah i'm not sure which to go for , even the 1600w lithium only does 15mph (25kph) , they list 45kph on some sites , but that's when it is de restricted , out of the box it's only a little quicker than the mini ... but i doubt i'll pay 1k for a scooter that you can't even ride around on the path legally , so the mini maybe the one i chose

    • @rouchater2665
      @rouchater2665 6 років тому

      Andy M on I think the mini is plenty fast enough, a lot cheaper and easier to transport and store. Of course I never ride mine on the road and I never break a speed limit in my car either. Mind you having the crutches attached to it and a leg in a cast helps if anyone asks what I’m up to haha

    • @AndyM65
      @AndyM65 6 років тому +1

      yeah i think if you ride it being considerate to others , then i think it should be ok , after all , mobility scooters can , and they sure don't stick to their 4mph top speed limit , i think if you get stopped it's down to the common sense of the officer , but the law is silly for these , it's as if they never even looked into them and thought , yeah lets shove these in the moped class , it's daft , because they use the excuse it can go quick if needed , but we have cars that will do 150 mph on a 70 mph road , ....i nearly got a legal one but then you can't ride those on the path haha as you get the same fine as a car doing it lol , so i'll just get the mini and ride it sensible on the path , and if i'm being considerate , fuck any stupid law ..... you have the luck of the foot cast , i'll just have to use my ole man was a sergeant for 31 years and try not to tell them the laws they don't know so well these days ;-)

    Hi
    As this was posted over 1 yr ago I assume you are all healed and back driving 🤩I have jst been diagnosed with sacral chordoma cancer it effects my mobility, I'm looking for a scooter that has a seat can go up hills easy, not to fussed about speed above 13 mph, light, robust. Please can you help me

    • @RouChater
      @RouChater 4 роки тому

      Hi Mark, I found this to be excellent, where I used to live was very hilly, if it ever did struggle on a very steep hill I'd use the good leg to give it a few pushes, but I was seriously impressed with the torque. I sold it in the end to a chap in London who's ridden it to work everyday, he still messages from time to time to say how much he likes it!

    Have you been pulled over by old bill. Been wanting to get one for ages but concerns of old bill and UK restrictions.

    • @RouChater
      @RouChater 5 років тому

      No never, but then I ride it quite sensibly on the roads and promenades and never really on the pavement. There was a case recently of a kid getting tried and having 6 points on his future driving license, I think he was 14. But he was doing 40mph on a pavement passed people. I think like anything in life, don't be a dick and you'll be OK. Plenty of people using them to commute in London...

    RouChater I can hardly find anything on this product! I am thinking of purchasing one of my own, but my main concern is how well does it do with steep hills?

    • @RouChater
      @RouChater 5 років тому

      Hi there, I was worried about this too as where I live has some really steep hills! It's OK, if you have some speed you can get up some steep gradients, the scooter slows obviously as the motor is maxed out, however for an added boost a few scoots with the leg will see you up some pretty steep inclines...

      It's held up really well, still in great nick and the battery is still working well. I'm really impressed with the build quality on this one, nothing has come loose and it's in good working order.

    Hi mate that's an honest review. Can I ask you how much you paid with shipping from alibaba I'm looking to purchase it there Thanks

    • @RouChater
      @RouChater 5 років тому

      Hi, I got it from Viper Scooters in the UK, it cost me £585 with free delivery. I'll be honest the website looked a bit shonky and I wondered if it was a scam, but it turned up two days later and I got order emails and shipping info from them too. It's a massively heavy thing to ship, so not sure how much you'd save with Alibaba. I ordered it and it arrived two days later from Viper. Funbikes have them listed, but out of stock, which they were when I got mine a while back. I hope that helps...
