Rey is a damn legend. I'm 41 now and have been a fan of his since I first saw him in 1995, when I was 15. I'll watch him wrestle anyone. I hope, when the time comes for Rey Mysterio JR to retire, Dominic becomes Rey Mysterio III and the legacy never dies.
but at the same time how would that be sustainable for Dominick? even the interviewer here was Iike "theres so many possibilities for opponents because of your dad" thats sticky stigma to be fully reliant and based around
I mean if thats whatll take him the furthest in the business than what hes capabIe of making with his own name then for sure yea, but me personally was hoping more for Dom. that kindve type casting theyre throwing around is rough
@@Jeremy_the_unfallible_n-a I see your point, but I'm thinking more about tradition and legacy. Rey wasn't the first Rey, hence the JR. Would be great to see it passed down to Eddie Guerrero's son, like it was passed down to Rey.
I first saw Rey in AAA in 93 when I was 8. I remember Conan had a main event cage match, Chris Benoit was there as Pegasus Kid and Eddie Guerrero was on a tag team with a white guy. They were dressed in American flag clothes. Forgot their name... Anyways,😅 Rey was the first match and I was amazed by his performance. Plus, being a kid that was being bullied alot, it was cool to see this little guy taking on bigger guys. He became my childhood hero and taught me to stand up for myself. Love Rey for life!
Apparently, JBL had severe back issues and simply couldn't go anymore. He was very limited as to what he could do in that match, so they had to make the match really short. Also, it does fit in with JBL's gimmick. Loses in twenty seconds, throws a hissy fit and quits
I'd like to see it in a passing of the torch moment tho, such as Rey having chosen to have his final match against Dominik in a mutual showing of respect between father & son, then on the next show, Rey removes his mask and hands it to Dominik who then starts wearing either the or a variation of the mask and goes by the new moniker of "Rey Mysterio Jr." or " Prince Mysterio".

Same situation like the rock , you got to make your own career , just having the name doesn't carry you for long.

Eddie's partner at that time was Art Barr...their team name was Los Gringos locos
Dude, Rey Mysterio back in WCW was just... incredible. There will never be another
so jbl is the real king of strong style?
The real King of Hardcore
The king of bullying and hazing

Rey Mysterio is wearing the Wu-Tang shirt. Real Talk 💯🙏🗝🙏👊
I love Dominick Mysterios a lot and i think he is so handsome without mask and i am his crazy fan
I think he's weird looking
Very emotional. VIVA LA RAZA
I would love to see a father vs son storyline. I think that could be awesome
Rey doesn’t want it.
How awesome would it be to have Dom win a championship of some kind and then Rey retires takes off his mask and boom new instant top baby face

That was fun 👍🙂
wouldn't Rey be Rey Musterio Jr.?😕 Dom would be Rey Mysterio Junior Junior.... or the III i guess.
Lil Mysterio 😅😅😅
can still do the father son turn & then get back together to pass on the mask. Ur not done yet Rey!
it is fairly cool and strange how much Dominick Iooks more Iike Eddy than Rey 😄
Rey wearing a mask
No he doesn't lmao
wtf, he's EXACTLY like Rey
Has anyone actually seen Rey without a mask on? Or is he always in character when he's on the streets?
He's wrestled without a mask before I believe in WCW. Plus I'm sure they're videos with Rey's mask off.
Google exists
Yeah he wrestled without a mask in wcw for about a year or so...

How is Dominik on the main roster he's stiff and slow..There is no way he's there once Rey is gone
Idk why I’m watching this tbh. Can’t stand that WWE shit. It’s terrible. AEW is soo much better in every way.
