Hey guys! We are hearing your comments about us talking over each other with the bigger group. We filmed up to episode 11 before we started releasing to UA-cam. Don’t think we are ignoring you! The Grice we met in Season 3 was Falco and Colt's Uncle. When he got sent to Paradise with Grisha and the other restorationists they became Warriors to save themselves and the Grice family from the same fate.
Missed important info while talking and joking, like hinting at Willy Tybur's role in Marley. I think you guys didn't notice, but Willy gave Commander Magath the whole military and put him in charge. Before that, Commander Magath realized who Willy was as well, and mentioned what he would say to someone pulling the strings from the shadows.

Just little advice, can you girls just do the talk when you all had done watching the episode
Eren going undercover using Kruger, his namesake Eren Kruger (The Owl/Former AT).
The small scene with the Marleyan gate guards was very wholesome and endearing showing not every Marleyan treats Eldians disrespectful.
You also missed a lot of subtext in the conversations between Magath and Willy. Like the fact Magath comes off far more objective of Marley's actions. He wanted to bring back conscription for Marleyans because they've never seen war. It only exists in their newspapers. He wanted them to experience war in hopes it would quell their thirst for it. Think of Magath as the Marley version of Keith Shadis.
You also have to realize Grisha's father is a patient who's mentally broken at this point. Saying he may have been too strict on Grisha for being a doctor was probably his way of rationalizing the real reason for his regrets. Powerful scene.
Ahhhh yes seeing his grandfather was a powerful moment honestly. -Morgan
Rashad is the name of Squad 4 of Hanji Zoe. It's nice to have your name being canon in the story. 🙂
I can imagine everyone was yelling POST CREDITS SCENE when Sam picked up the controller at the beginning of the credits haha

Remember Grisha's comrade who told him what was truly happened with Faye's death? The one who was eaten alive at the coast of Paradis Island before The Owl revealed himself? That's Grice, Falco's uncle. Everything's connected in AoT, just like the correlation between Eldians and Paths itself

I also agree with the talking during dialogue being somewhat annoying, they usually miss something each episode because of it. I recommend that they write notes down for discussions after.

Even though this ep is more lowkey, it's one of my favorites from S4, and where I really started to love the ED. Eren's meeting his grandfather was sad, especially how he has a sort of PTSD now. That moment when Gabi smiles and says she feels like change is coming, then the ED plays and the credits roll, you can just feel that the tragedy is coming soon. And of course that cliffhanger 🤣, you guys are lucky you didn't have to wait 2 weeks for next episode 🤣 (they went on a winter break when airing).

yea this was the worst episode overall, but still everyone kept talking over everything so made it even worse
Well, not only in this season they miss things, but (for Sam and Morgan) also during Season 3 part2 wasn't their best either. They were really out of focus back then missing parts and not paying attention.
And yes, this season is a mess for this group and getting annoying in every single episode. Sometimes is difficult to bear it. It's a shame, really.

6:12 fun fact: this scene was supposed to be in episode 3 (according to the manga) , they had no time to show it so they pushed it to episode 4, after episode 3 aired most people believed this scene was censored, some got mad and others got worried because censoring this means the new studio could have censored other scenes, especially violent ones, in future episodes

Also few note, inheriting a Marleyan Titan your family would be awarded honorary Marleyans. That's why Marcel protected and talked up his brother since Porco didn't need to become a shifter to get out of internment zone. That's why in the race, subtly, Colt (future Beast Titan inheritor) is upping Gabi while Reiner is cheering for Falco

I was just about to comment that it's hard to react to this very dense season with 5 people talking randomly over each other, especially the beginning since you're introduced to a whole slew of characters, society and lore. Even watching by yourself being quiet it would be hard to track everything. I've read the manga a long time ago and even I had to pause and rewind sometimes to properly digest it.
I don't think Rainer splited his personality back then. It looks more like a deliberate decision to act like Marcel for the sake of the group which ultimately contributed to his breakdown when Marco was killed. That's why Annie and Berthold were so shocked to see him like this.

14:52 lately I've not felt super good about these reactions, maybe I'm just going trough what I call the "sos bros syndrome" or similar but c'mon they just where at war with some of those people and at some point in the past they where at war with everyone in that room, imagine you get invited to a post war "party" and the dude who just won and is organizing the party says "attention everyone just so you know, we are still enemies" what do you think will happen to you at that moment as a representative of your country, at best he's just being a poor winner at worst (and way more likely knowing these people) he was about to kill them on the spot to make a point

Tyburs are Eldians (it’s just a last name). Think of Tybur’s ancestors as Eldian traitors. They betrayed Eldian King Fritz and sided with the Marleyans, so after Fritz took some Eldians to the island with him, Tyburs on the mainland were rewarded by Marley and treated different than the Eldians abandoned by Fritz and stranded on the mainland (who would forced to live in internment camps).

Ngl, I stopped watching AOT after the second episode in this season because i hatted the Marleyans so much and i missed the main crew. I was just dozing off during the episodes.l didnt see the final season till this year.
