My eyes are now wide open to how toxic my relationship is. My partner has an alcohol problem which he’s in denial about. I nag out of frustration because he doesn’t hear me. I’ve come to realise things won’t change. I’ve started putting a plan in place to leave, but it’s going to be a long process due to lack of finances, kids and my support network being 16 hours away. To be honest, I’ve been very drained.
