I didn't say I love it, I said I like it. I haven't returned to this video since the first time I watched it besides to respond to this comment. This doesn't have the typical white noise, loss of focus and loose feel that I'd associate with the lofi music that I usually listen to relax and study to. I think this is more synth pop or something. I don't think the content in the video warrants the lofi title. It's sort of like if you ordered chocolate ice cream and you get vanilla. You don't hate it but it's not what you asked for.
+Nicholas Stewart Tbh I'd characterize this as Lo-fi, because of the hiphop-like beats and the mellow atmosphere surrounding the song. Ofc I am no expert on Lo-fi music nor do I specifically search for such, but many lo-fi music has appeared on my playlists since I listen to lotta ambient music in general. I don't get the white noise part only because maybe I haven't paid attention to all the previous lo-fi I have listened to, but I didn't notice any white noise in all the other lo-fi to begin with. If you know of any typical Lo-fi, please do suggest it so we can get an idea to what lo-fi really is.
