The small Fighter and Bomber class ships get +50% Evasion, while Frigates get +50% Accuracy. The Cruisers are big, but they don't get a bonus. So, adding some Frigates and Fighters to your fleet would be powerful.
Hi quill! I just want to say I love the series and I can't wait for the next episode! I however noticed something that might've slipped your attention, Vizzard 1 is only so good on science because it's getting the science output from Vizzard 4 the precursor planet. If you turn that into a core world Vizzard 1 will fall off but 4 will exponentially produce more science.
I will say this in previous game I usually would pick 2 weapon techs to focus on, and all defense techs. The thought being that way I cant be stone walled by some one immune to a specific damage type and had good defenses against all damage types. I wonder how valid that strategy is in this game?
I really like the artwork. In the grand scheme of things adding few dozen of well put together pictures is just a matter of finding few artists with good sense of how the devs want the game to look, and then just let them do their work. I don't understand why Paradox doesn't want to invest more heavily to improve their interface in similar way. Imagine how vibrant Stellaris would be with the quality of illustrations like in Galactic Civs.
Very nice series. Hope I don't run into ant cat aliens in my games...! Hey a challenge for Quill would be to NOT priortize research and still win. Purposely gimp your science in creating your custom aliens. Like the species...can't remember... in STNG who were great at copying but rather pathetic otherwise. "We a re really smart"...etd.
