I agree for us who are around 1200-1400 the top 100 have strats we should not try. I mean give you example. Shooting the boar with the tc is just a risk. Unless you can do it successfully 98% of the time or more it is not worth the extra 1 or 2 seconds saved
Great defence. I would have do the same but i'm not as fast as you, especially in feudal you did so great with scout micro. Wondering if full feudal with more sc (against scorps) + spears would be good ? It's true Ele are so tanky but you have so much eco more if you dont click castle you can spam everything. Going castle give you monk defence but also you give him time.
I think it could work. I worry about trading value though. Malay ele are just so dang cheap, and even if I get fully upgraded scout cav, he can always pick up pike upgrade and then I'm in serious trouble against pike + siege. Beating castle age units without your own I think is harder. Perhaps you can win in feudal by counter attack aggressively, but I've struggled to get that work around this ELO range, people defend too well. Definitely worth thinking about though!
Siege and monks! Both can be gotten instantly once you're castle age and are incredibly strong on defense, especially if you are walled! Staying on just one TC is also crucial since you need to invest so much into military to stay alive.
