Resistance 2 Part 9 - The Swarm

When I was a teen, I saw this badass demo that took place on a boat. The world around the boar was desolate, flooded and frozen. We were driving down a flooded town, we were avoiding the roads because the aliens/monsters were patrolling them. There was zombie like monsters jumping on the boats followed by giant walking machines with search lights scanning the river. The demo ends with the boat blowing up to a bunch of missiles.
The title Resistance 3 popped up; at that moment I was hooked on that game. When I looked up the games before Resistance 3, I immediately fell in love with the franchise. Imagine the sadness I experience when I found out it was only on PlayStation 3 when I had an Xbox 360. I had to abandon the idea of playing this game or any of the Resistance games, Watched and read about the games but could never play them. Years later, we are here to play this game, we are going to play the trilogy.
We get to play as Nathan Hale, we were a part of the US Army sent in to support the British Army. I was the sole survivor who woke up after being attacked by Crawlers, turns out I am immune to the Chimera Virus. Black ops units have been watching me throughout Fall of Man, waiting to snatch me up. Right after destroying the Tower in London, these Soldiers known as SRPA kidnap me, giving me an inhibitor...
2 years after Fall of Man, Nathan Hale is a part of an experimental group called the Sentinels. Soldiers injected with a weak version of the Chimera virus to enhance physical and healing capabilities. We are Stationed in San Francisco for checkups. An experiment known as Daedalus has been set free by the Chimera, a human test subject injected with pure Chimera DNA. The man slowly transformed into a creature similar to the Angels and has been leading the Chimera to victory for 2 years...
We have rerouted they're assaulting sub fleet with the Liberty Defense Perimeter Towers, but one Ship got passed us. Daedalus's Flagship is attacking a tower we made a base in, Genesis Station. We received a distress radio message from Dr. Fyodor Malikov at said station. Instead head back to receive an inhibitor for my progressing infection, Hale decides to help, disregarding his health.
Dr. Fyodor Malikov, a genius scientist that helped create many terrible things, and is trying to do the right thing. Daedalus knocked me out and left Hale and Malikov alive as a cruel joke. Malikov talks about how Daedalus was once human, one of Malikov's patients injected with Pure Chimera DNA. One of two individuals injected with Pure Chimera DNA, I'll give you a guess who the Second individual. Daedalus has activated Bryce Canyon's Chimeran tower and enigmatically warns Hale that Earth belongs to the Chimera and that "your skies will shine with our stars" before leaving. Now we need to get out but first, a new Chimera strain, known as the Swarm is hunting us. The Swarm were once Crawlers that didn't grow into leapers but rather evolved into this new form, With the ability of flight and titanium like carapace. The Swarms is a swarm of flying chimera locust that tear apart humans with ease and are immune to human firearms...
