Well that must have been a nice flight.! Yeah when you chat with them you know they're all real great people. They deserve every drop of their success.
@@emotionalideas I did - fantastic! The one I painfully missed was Bob Reynold's Guitar Band - it was at something like 3 am, and I just couldn't pull it off. Any reports on that??
It was his birthday...we were both in line at the gourmet hot dog booth after...so I paid lol...and the drummer jason thomas left right after the set to fly to L.A to represent Snarky Puppy at the Grammys...which they won. Mark went on with Snarky for their set 90 minutes later. Great day at the festival!
Yep Ground Up is always about great music and great people. The festival has a very small footprint and there's no artist greenroom, so the bands are all just hanging with all of us. Very very cool. Actually here's a bit of Snarky's set: ua-cam.com/video/pZiym0iSOX4/v-deo.html
Wow ! You guys rip - brilliant 🎼🎸💥👏👏👏👏
Could not believe my luck, sat next to Mark on the flight to Miami from Dallas. Nicest guy you could imagine.

And please tell me you saw Lizz Wright's set Saturday night after SP. We sat VIP front row. Sensational set.
