Got my 2018 Tacoma Off Road 3 weeks ago. Was looking at the TRD Sport but my wife could not see over the hood scope so I moved up the the Off Road. Boy I am glad she is short. I love my Off Road.

We realize I takes the support of the online community to keep our videos going. - I would say add a level kit if i was you. -Snorkel, it has a lot of functionality and looks awesome and should not void your warranty if done at the dealer. -Roof rack will also add character and personalize your Taco. -All-Weather floor mats are a must. Cheap and simple. It will help keep the floor boards clean from dirt and mud. -Window tint will give you a great look and will protect the interior from the elements of the sun. -I hope these low cost tips help you out Brother. -Other comments and suggestions are welcomed !

The Tacoma came with the all weather floor mats as an option plus I got an extra set of front Husky mats free when I purchased my tonneau cover. Also the truck came with tinted windows. I got a great deal on the truck. I purchased my 2018 3 weeks ago when the 2019s came out and for a full $7000 off MSRP..

Thanks - nice walk through! I bought one of these TRD Off Road (with the connivence PKG/Cadet Blue) last night...The manual is way too big so this was very helpful. Our salesman went over everything, but I'm older and I forget easily. Sticker was around 39K, and I could only get them down to 34400 (with tax and everything)...they were not willing to negotiate too much - and I dealt with 3 different dealerships (over the internet/email/text). This was my first Tacoma - when I bought my other cars (currently have a Tahoe and a GMC High Top Conversion Van) they came off the prices MUCH more. However the Tru Car/USAA App showed my price was actually lower than the average for my zip code....hopefully the truck will make me forget the failure to get more off - LOL.

@@carguycollege1215 Thanks - the resale value is far different than most. Do you know if the lights (headlights) are OK to leave on - I see they go off if I do not turn them off - when I park in my garage at night. However it tells me to turn them off...I like not having to worry about them.

Great question. Several factors go into the final M.S.R.P. #1 Factory installed options #2 Locally installed options #3 base price. If I had to guess, one of the videos is going off base price and the other is after options. Refer to the window sticker to see a true cost break down of the add options ie carpet mats, running boards etc. Hope this helps you find the truck your looking for.
That little box is NOT on the driver's side bed in my 2019 Off Road model. They stopped putting pull handles on driver side. Also 3rd brake light leaks and must take head liner down to get to two nuts to remove light to replace bulb. Also air conditioning drain plug lands water on frame causing rust. Come on Toyota , fix these simple things.
Try going to settings on the MID (between the gauge cluster) and deactivating the system. You will have an option to turn off the PCA & LDA. I hope this is helpful. lets us know what you accomplish.
