I love how the extended due date seems like a bad thing, when it just means you were able to get the grind of a 10,000 word essay done in a minute, and now don’t have to worry about it ever again until the next essay
On the other hand, it makes the story way less epic. I've had this happen plenty of times, and it's nice to be done, but it's also nice to be able to tell that you truly dodged the deadline of death by a minute.

The ending is so relatable for me during virtual school, at least for the first couple months. Then I wised up and realized I could just watch UA-cam all day and only do the tests and other summative assignments, which only happened like once or twice per quarter in each class, and honestly weren’t that hard, and I could do them very late for full points, and I could get some help from the internet and the notes the teacher left in the class files that we aren’t supposed to use for the test
when I had online learning, I spent like 10 hours in a row doing tasks and it was so frustrating cause I literally had no time on UA-cam...
anyway, now normal school is back and... I still have like barely any time on YT

i did literally the same thing as you, but the downside to that is that you don't learn anything, today i had to do a test to engress in a good school for highschool but the test was so hard and i didn't even know how to do half the stuff there, basically, it wasn't worth it.
It sucks when you cram an assignment in the night before, and the due date is extended or it wasn’t even due yet. But also that means you don’t have to worry about doing it anymore. 🤷♂️

Reminds me of something similar I've done in 7th grade:
So my class needed to write a pretty long story about a big event in our lives. We had a week to do it. Obviously, no one finished. The teacher extended the due date by a week. I didn't start until a day before it was "due," and then I had to write the whole thing in the afternoon. I actually ended up making a decently made story, and my teacher presented it to everyone the next day. That was cool, but since no one else finished their story the teacher extended the due date by _another_ week. And then nobody did it that week like wtf, it's hard but not THAT hard. At the end of the quarter nobody but me and a few others had finished so it was basically just extra credit and the teacher got fired. I liked my story tbh, but my teacher never gave it back to me and now it's gone. Well, idk why I spent 10 minutes typing a comment for the 0 people who will read this whole thing but you're welcome!

I totally relate, I was so stressed out on making this summary per chapter for my book report and the book has like 100 chapters and my teacher said it was due that day and I was panicking it’s almost due i barley even wrote the half of the chapters then I stayed up so long before 12 then i finally finished and I submitted it, the next day she said it was due next week.

This happened last semester where I submitted it and as SOON as it was in the time changed to 12:00. Less than 5 seconds. I just collapsed into my bed and stared at the ceiling for 10 minutes so my heart rate would slow down. Was the final paper to it was like 40% final grade.
Only thing worse than that is having about 30 seconds to submit it and then you realize you're having network errors.
Im pretty sure they'd have accepted it anyway. The file says when it was last saved so there's no way to get cucked even if youre having network errors or anything
WHY IS THIS SOO TRUEE?? Every time you do a homework it will get extended. When I didn‘t do it for the first time, it won‘t get extended.

This happened to me. But yes, it was refreshing not having to stress over something since it was out of my hair.
