- In this video, I will show you how to make a reusable rover, so you can send the rover to another planet. In this part is about bring back a Mars rover to the Earth. In the next video I will take it to Venus with the same rover.

You made all that look easy! I've landed only on the Moon three times so far! I'm working on a rover for the Moon, but I think I need more of the upgrades!

Sea fox I kinda made a rover on Mars, it really is quite simple once you get the hang of iy
I landed on venus once lol. And i cant get it back to earth
This can be done with only 1, much smaller 2-staged rocket! Leave the 2nd stage in Mars orbit and use the smallest rocket engine on the rover to get back to Mars orbit and dock with the mother ship. Basically like the Moon missions, but then take the rover/lander home as well.
I got to the moon and mars and venus with the same rocket😊.
But it crashed badly on mercury🙁.
Remember the old saying: tis at first you don’t succeed, try try again!!

I have now done this exact same mission twice and succeeded both times!
Now I understand the lines or orbit to Mars, very different than the Moon, and the injection thing messed my head up. Thanks for this, I'll be going to Mars and take a Satellite there.

Well, the rover is too big and docking port is on place where the Probe is, which is not a problem unlit you come to dock it with a rocket flaming it with engine.
That will not be a good idea after Stef adds more realism into the game.

The most difficult thing I did, besides landing on Moon, Venus and Mars, was docking 2 probes in orbit. After seeing this, everything I do is like just throwing rocks at birds on a tree.
Actually docking in orbit is one of the hardest things to do, you should be proud of yourself
For example I built a base on the moon, a satellite around Mars, but i always tried but failed to duck
I cant dock ive been trying i only can go to the moon so far lol

plasticcinema thats the point. To save money only design two rockets make only two rockets and they are reusable and cut down on costs.

The reason for recovering a rover isn’t to reuse it, it’s to bring the specimens it has collected back to earth to study.
I'm 8 years old and my dad bought me the expansion bundle
Its much easyer to send the rover into orbit with own power and then dock it in space. Also you dont have to fry your own rover during ascent.
Also you can just propell the rover body back to orbit.

This would only work on planets with atmospheres because the parachute doesn't work without air. So you can't send it to the moon.

PyroX I know I did but it was fairly difficult, every time I opened the app my rover reset, it would of been nice to have step by step instructions to have written down on a paper, tho I needed the expansion... oh well.....
Well uh. In real life. Launching another rocket to get the rover would not be the best idea. Because you use a lot of fuel. But great video!

Just have them snug onto your rocket. Use the converter (box to cone) to make it snug.
