I love you for using old favorites, we need more of this, I'm tired of continually buying makeup. We need inspiration on how to use old products we all have and love.
Your winged liner looks really good! And I would love to see an "I do my moms make up tutorial" or a get ready with me and include your mom on camera :)
BeatrixKidd0 I have a good amount of high end but I'm all about drugstore finds that perform like more expensive products. But I have to say... nothing from CoverGirl has ever wowed me. Milani has good eyeshadows and matte lipsticks, Wet n Wild has great eyeshadows and powdered face products, Physician's Formula has the best bronzers and highlighters, Maybelline concealers rock, and Loreal has amazing brow products and foundation. CoverGirl... can't think of anything.
Mira Aguirre Agreed! I don't know why I didn't venture into better drugstore brands. They did have a gorgeous mineral foundation compact that they discontinued of course, but the rest of their "classic" line was just bad, especially foundations.
It's so great that you're venturing out of your comfort zone with darker lips and fun eye looks like this cool cut crease! That blush looks so amazing on you, you should definitely use it more often! 💕
I would love to see you do a wing that is more up towards the end of your brow and not straight across towards your temple. Curious how it would look and would love to see you try a different look or technique on camera!
Hey Jamie! I just wanted to say that your videos are getting better and better. You deserve like 10 million subs, you're amazing and so professional! Love from Greece xxxx
It sounds like your mom had the best makeup collection! LOL! I love these videos where "old" products are being used! I am enjoying the "throwback" element. Some UA-camrs are also just showing new ways to use the tried and true palettes which I am also enjoying since those palettes are still in my collection, too. I would love to see how you would restyle some of the "old" palettes (Naked, Lorac Pro, Chocolate Bar...)!
I'm currently 17 and totally understand the past you with the foundation problem! I've been obsessed with just putting concealer all over my face; looks so much more natural and feels less Camry.
My makeup was basically my moms old makeup, and it was always from Mac. Also when I visited my grandma, she would give me her old makeup too, which was usually Mac, Bobbi Brown, and Clinique. Some of it I still have for nostalgic purposes, I was so grateful!
Very nice to "travel" in time with you. Here is suggestion for another video: old goodies with a modern approach. After all, although I love makeup and have a bunch of products, I do not buy new stuff as often as the "beauty gurus" do. I use what is available in my drawers and I try to keep up with the trends ;)
I loved this concept! I simply cannot afford to keep up with all the latest makeup releases and it's nice to see "old favorites" being used again. UA-camr's always showcase the latest things and it usually takes everyone weeks to get it, but by the time we do get it, something is out there that's much better. Great job Jamie 😘
Hey girl! My throwback favs from high school are def naked 1 palette, stila lip gloss, Mac studio fix, amazing cosmetics amazing concealer, Mac bronzer, too faced snow bunny bronzer/highlighter, maybelline colossal mascara, Sephora liquid eyeliner... hmmm idk what else! Hehe.
Omg you're making me feel so old. UA-cam wasn't even a thing when I was in high school lol. I barely wore any makeup in high school - I remember buying lots of Clinique stuff from the mall but really only ever wearing a Clinique lip gloss and a silvery eyeshadow stick/eyeliner from Almay.
You mention your mom a lot and she sounds like she may have influenced a lot of your choices - you should do a video with your Mom!!! Does your mom have throwback products that she still used or has replaced with another product? Or maybe you do her makeup? Something!
My two palette combos are Naked and Tartelette in Bloom. Both neutral, mix of warm and cool and naked has all the shimmers while in bloom has all the mattes. it's the best
I am a brand new subscriber. I found your channel a few days ago and I am completely in love with you and your videos! You are so eloquent - the way you explain the products, how you use them, why you did/didn't enjoy them is very informative. I feel like I'm learning about the products as you are showing us how to use them. The quality of your videos is exceptional. I also really like how you are you - a lot of youtubers try to be like other 'popular' yourtubers - they often copy or imitate which is so frustrating to watch. I also love how there is no awkward posing or 'modeling' in your videos. You simply show the make up and move on. Awesome channel! Amazing videos! Xx
Jamie- taking me way back! I remember when the Naked palette was everything. Now I never use it. I'm hooked on Viseart- it's an addiction at this point. And the MUFE Artist shadows. I pulled out the Naked palette last week and it just didn't do for me anymore (although I still like Sin and Buck). I've become spoiled by the high end shadows- lol. You reminded me that I do love the Laura Mercier TM and Benefit Rockateur. On my to buy list now. You still look gorgeous with your throw back makeup 😍
Omg I used to use Benefit cosmetics so much! The lemon-aid primer, dandelion blush, high beam highlighter, lollitint stain, it was the only highend brand I was into 😂 everything else drugstore 👍🏻
This video just reminded me of when I started watching youtube back in 2009. Great video, more like this. Maybe if you can do one with your mom and her favorite old favorites.
This video made me so nostalgic! The Naked 2 Palette was my first eyeshadow palette (I pretty much never use it but I can't toss it haha!). That and bare minerals mineral foundation was my high school and early college years.
Anything Urban Decay was my holy grail make up in high school! I loved the Naked palette and would were the UD glitter eyeliners everyday. The funniest part about my makeup routine in high school was the fact that I wore too much foundation (that did not match my skin...) and do a great eye look and that was it. Yeah. I didn't set my makeup, had no idea what how to use bronzer and didn't know what concealer was at all!!
I still love the NAKED palette! It was one of my first ones too. I love to use the SIN primer potion all over my lid and throw on mascara when I am in a hurry. Beautiful color! :)
such a fun idea! I have so much makeup that I used to love that I need to go back and use! Especially my UD Naked palette! I haven't touched it in so long!
BeccaXO I recently went back to the Naked palette and I've been loving it! I wear it to work everyday. The shadows blend so quickly and easily much more so than their newer palettes imo
I really enjoyed this video, it made me start thinking about all of my old faves but OMG did this video make me feel old! You talked about wearing products in high school that I remember being married when it hit the market!
i had no idea that the l'oréal eyeliner was that old! I've been using it for about 2-3 years and it's my favorite and i've tried sooo many! i wore it on a water ride once and it stayed on!
This was such a neat idea! Sounds like your mom knows her make-up🙂 Would love to see a tutorial with the Kat Von D shade&light palette again! I'm 34 and didn't really get into high end make-up until several months ago. Also, maybe you could do another video using a bold lip.
*young me seeing something on yt* : omg I need that!! I'll love it forever!! *me right now, looking at super old, barely used makeup* : what was I thinking.. DAMN U TANYA BURR!
Too faced natural eye palette.. the shadows are so buttery.. I forgot how much I liked it because I've been trying other palettes. nyc smooth skin bronzer in sunny. l'oreal true match powder revlon lip butter in pink truffle. i love pinky nude lips. MAC margin blush. I also had the urban decay primer potion in the old packaging.. that was like my go to. now I use the elf eye primer.
What a cool idea! I really enjoyed it. I too recently went back to the original UD Naked palette and the blend ability is unparalleled! I forgot how good it was. I've been using it again for work on a daily basis and yes, Sin is the bomb!
I used to love the LM tinted moisturizer too but sadly it's not enough coverage for me anymore! I also used the Porefessional but like you said now that my skin is dry it pills off and is a nightmare lol! I used to love the face Highlighter (MSF) from MAC in Lightscapade before highlighting was even a thing because a girl from MAC put it on me and I liked the way it looked lol! Also that MAC blush which I believe is Pink Swoon is still a favorite!! I was very late to the bandwagon with the Nars Laguna bronzer (I was a die hard Benefit Hoola girl lol) but I tried it a couple years ago and it's been my HG ever since :) Fun video! So Nostalgic! Oh and definitely my first eyeshadow primer was the UD one because I swear it was literally the only one at the time lol! I went through the MAC paint pot phase after but thankfully I found my Benefit Stay Don't Stray not too long after. Its so funny to look at pictures and be like "oh ya that's when I was in my Naked palette phase" etc lol!!
oh my gosh😍that cut crease tho...love it....i too have combo dry skin n was crazy about the porefessional just coz everyone was raving about it..too faced hangover addict now... Learn from your mistakes right!!
Bright and dark colors do look good on u on camera.....when I saw ur thumbnail I was stunned I was like omg!! what happened Jamie with such a bold lip....ahhhan👌👌
Back in 1997 and 1998, my go to everyday foundation was Max Factor stick Foundation! I honestly forgot about it until a few months ago that I saw it at Wal-Mart lol! That stuff was very full coverage! I might try it out again sometime! 😊
Hey Jamie! Love the chambray shirt. Using older products was a good idea. I still love the naked palette. I tossed mine out but now I want to repurchase it. I also have Rebel and it is pretty but I just don't use it. Probably time to back to MAC it. I also have the Benefit blush and it is so pretty. Laguna is still on my list of favorites. Since you can now buy it as a single pan I am going to repurchase.
Funny thing..... I've had and loved Rebel for about 5 years and one of the things I love the most is that it's NOT super pigmented. You can still wear a bold lip (as a 27 yr old woman) without it looking scary. It's a very unique shade and formula.
pinkii06 agreed! I've been using the UD primer potion and the porefessional. I did recently go back to the original Naked palette and I forgot how easy the shadows are to blend. I've been using it again daily for work.
Sorry I keep commenting asking about your editing skillz lol but your transitions are goals. Could you do a video talking about your editing process? Thanks!! xx
Love this look with your old faves. I remember back in the day I used the Max Factor Pan Stick (loved this stuff) and I used the Cornsilk translucent powder. Oh and my eyeliner was always the Maybelline with the smudger on the other end, and I still use this sometimes! Anyway love I will see you in the next vid, have a great "Monday"!!!!
I love everything BUT the lipstick, totally agree. I own it too and similar to my Revlon Black Cherry my lip always peeks through and it looks streaky and makes crisp lines impossible. You need to pick up Mac Soft and Gentle again!
In high school (in the 90's) I ONLY wore the Revlon Coffeebean lipstick. It was the grunge era! That was my absolute favorite. And CoverGirl face pressed powder in the lightest shade they had...smelled like Noxema and again....grunge
Ohhh and Mehron blush:). I would also steal my moms and my grandmas Clinique lipstick they kept in a mirrored lipstick case....makes me smile thinking of that memory:). I feel so many of us girls have vivid memories of makeup associated with the women who raised us or who we were around the most:) and it's good to keep remembering those moments
I love you for using old favorites, we need more of this, I'm tired of continually buying makeup. We need inspiration on how to use old products we all have and love.
Yeah. Unfortunately most big beauty youtubers are just walking ad signs pretending to be your friends.
Rg Escalona agreed! It would be nice to have more ideas for old favorites. Actually Pinterest has a ton.
Rg Escalona ur totally we need inspiration to get back to our old favorites makeup products
I've been considering doing a Project 10 Pan, or even an *☆eeeeeeeekkk☆* 20 PAN!!! So many new releases, it's so hard 😑
Rg Escalona. No kidding! I swear there would be no such thing as Sephora VIB Rouge if not for constantly changing trends.
It still blows my mind that you don't have way more subscribers. You're one of the most professional and amazing youtubers I am subscribed to!
+Jay ❤❤❤❤
Your winged liner looks really good! And I would love to see an "I do my moms make up tutorial" or a get ready with me and include your mom on camera :)
+Rachel Greenberg this seems to be a popular opinion!!
Jamie, you are nailing the video's lately. I frigging love this idea. It makes me want to go buy ALL THE COVERGIRL like I did when I was 16.
BeatrixKidd0 I have a good amount of high end but I'm all about drugstore finds that perform like more expensive products. But I have to say... nothing from CoverGirl has ever wowed me. Mira Aguirre Agreed! I don't know why I didn't venture into better drugstore brands. They did have a gorgeous mineral foundation compact that they discontinued of course, but the rest of their "classic" line was just bad, especially foundations.
some of your old faves are still my current faves, damn I need to catch up
hahaha I was thinking the same!!!
Nikki Burnato omg same!
Haha same!!
lol right? I felt way behind and almost...silly?...for still wanting and using some of these products
None of these are all that old, but then again, neither is she ;)
It's so great that you're venturing out of your comfort zone with darker lips and fun eye looks like this cool cut crease! That blush looks so amazing on you, you should definitely use it more often! 💕
I love the idea of doing a GRWM with your mom or a video about makeup products and tricks that you learned from your mom!
I would love to see you do a wing that is more up towards the end of your brow and not straight across towards your temple. Curious how it would look and would love to see you try a different look or technique on camera!
My thoughts exactly! The angle just doesn't look quite right and doesn't flatter her eye/face shape.
I like to go back and forth between both types! depends on my mood ;)
Hey Jamie! I just wanted to say that your videos are getting better and better. You deserve like 10 million subs, you're amazing and so professional!
Love from Greece xxxx
+Maria Alexandropoulou thanks so much love!

*cakey, lol
loving the old throwbacks! really bring back youtube from the good old days
i thought you were alot older. not because of your looks....but your behavior. your mature and well spoken....
+Kristine Tank thank you! 🤗
Kristine Tank me too!!!
Jamie Paige how old are you?
She's 22!
22?! I never would have guessed!
My makeup was basically my moms old makeup, and it was always from Mac. Also when I visited my grandma, she would give me her old makeup too, which was usually Mac, Bobbi Brown, and Clinique. Some of it I still have for nostalgic purposes, I was so grateful!
I love how you used to borrow makeup from your mom and my mom used to borrow makeup from me (except foundation--we're different shades).
Dalai Mami SAME
Dalai Mami For me it was my older sister, I used alllll her makeup, thinking back I can't believe she was so cool about it 💕
I love the concept of this video! I'd would love to do this but I'm so new at makeup that my old faves are still my current faves lol
Lenymar Matos lol same!!

Maybeline Great Lash mascara in black was my go to mascara for years!
Toni Cabrera same here! It's a classic!

Carla Gigglypoo I'd love to see that as well
I would love to see her in a video too if she wanted! She is always so sweet when Jamie shows clips of her.
peeeeerhaps :)
Yes, please, Jamie! The one with your mom from 2015 is awesome & hilarious. 😂😂😂
You should do a video with your mom that would be amazing
hey Jaime this is really the hilight of my sick day 😍😍😍😍
Oh, how could I forget! Had to have the classic UD shadows - midnight cowboy, X (most gorgeous peach shimmer shade) midnight cowboy rides again, SIN
omg girl i thought you were gonna say you stole the porefessional from the store! 😂
+Emily Wible omg imagine 😂
Emily Wible I thought the same thing! lol
My two palette combos are Naked and Tartelette in Bloom. Both neutral, mix of warm and cool and naked has all the shimmers while in bloom has all the mattes. it's the best
Your eyes almost look red in this, I'm getting serious twilight vibes!!!!!! Seriously gorgeous! Xx❤️❤️❤️

This video just reminded me of when I started watching youtube back in 2009. Great video, more like this. Maybe if you can do one with your mom and her favorite old favorites.
that tinted moisturizer is really pretty on you. that's what I like to use
I think that Laura Mercier foundation might be a bit too dark/orange on you but I love the overall look!
I can say from experience that it oxidizes like crazy!
Carly Anderson bb creams always do 😂❤
This video made me so nostalgic! The Naked 2 Palette was my first eyeshadow palette (I pretty much never use it but I can't toss it haha!). That and bare minerals mineral foundation was my high school and early college years.
I literally use the tinted moisturizer, the porefessional, the benefit rockateur, and the laguna bronzer almost every single day😭😭😭

BeccaXO heey!! You should do a video like that I would love to see yours 💙💙
Sebnem Nacioglu I think I might! I think it'd be really fun! 💗💗
Omg MAC rebel was my go to lip for years!!! Total throwback, watching some of these old vids, pls do something similar again!! 💖
I love this idea :) The Naked palette will always be one of my favorites
I would love to see a challenge where you use every color in an eye shadow palette!
I really enjoyed this video, it made me start thinking about all of my old faves but OMG did this video make me feel old! You talked about wearing products in high school that I remember being married when it hit the market!
Cute video idea! I agree, the Naked palette needs a dark matte brown shade!
i had no idea that the l'oréal eyeliner was that old! I've been using it for about 2-3 years and it's my favorite and i've tried sooo many! i wore it on a water ride once and it stayed on!
This was such a neat idea! Sounds like your mom knows her make-up🙂
Would love to see a tutorial with the Kat Von D shade&light palette again! I'm 34 and didn't really get into high end make-up until several months ago. Also, maybe you could do another video using a bold lip.
Jaime, this eye look is sooo pretty on you!!
i loved this, i literally use the shades sin and naked every single day of my life ahahah
Most of my makeup was raided from my mom's vanity too! So much Avon makeup! 🙈
*young me seeing something on yt* : omg I need that!! I'll love it forever!!
*me right now, looking at super old, barely used makeup* : what was I thinking.. DAMN U TANYA BURR!
Jamie, that lip color looks great on you! I really enjoy your videos, you're awesome!
Too faced natural eye palette.. the shadows are so buttery.. I forgot how much I liked it because I've been trying other palettes.
nyc smooth skin bronzer in sunny.
l'oreal true match powder
revlon lip butter in pink truffle. i love pinky nude lips.
MAC margin blush.
I also had the urban decay primer potion in the old packaging.. that was like my go to. now I use the elf eye primer.
these products 👌 such a great way to rediscover old loves ❤ great video as always, Jamie!
What a cool idea! I really enjoyed it. I too recently went back to the original UD Naked palette and the blend ability is unparalleled! I forgot how good it was. I've been using it again for work on a daily basis and yes, Sin is the bomb!
This was such a great video!!! Please do more like this. ❤️
You should use that Tarte mascara more often, because it made your eyelashes look incredible!
That necklace/chocked combination is too damn cute! Loved the video as usual Jamie💗🙌🏾
Happy Monday Jamie!! The ABH brow powder has been my favorite since I was like 15! I still use it every single day
happy Monday to you too, Lucy!! 😍
You just singlehandedly saved my day I have the worst Tonsil infection I really needed this THANKS 4 COMING THRU GIRL
omg, feel better girl!!
Your videos are really relaxed and chilled. I love it 💜
I used to love the LM tinted moisturizer too but sadly it's not enough coverage for me anymore! Its so funny to look at pictures and be like "oh ya that's when I was in my Naked palette phase" etc lol!!
this is such a cute walk down memory lane...I want to do this now!
Benefit Rockateur is still one of my all time favorite blushes!
oh my gosh😍that cut crease tho...love it....i too have combo dry skin n was crazy about the porefessional just coz everyone was raving about it..too faced
hangover addict now...
Learn from your mistakes right!!
Just discovered your channel! Love your videos sooo much!
The FIRST REVLON color stay foundation I used to wear everyday and it was the only foundation I wore for like 6 years. I should try the new formula...
I miss the OG youtube days, but somehow, your channel reminds me of the good ol' youtube channels that I used to watch
Omg this make-up fits you perfectly!! You are sooo pretty!!
Bright and dark colors do look good on u on camera.....when I saw ur thumbnail I was stunned I was like omg!! what happened Jamie with such a bold lip....ahhhan👌👌
That lip color looks amazing on you!!
I love this idea! Too bad I was never really in to makeup until about 2 years ago because before then I had no clue what Anastasia or NARS was!
Omg the naked original palette is such a throwback😂😍😍💯
GORGEOUS! Your make up skills in this video are 🔥
Rebel was totally my favourite lipstick too! I think it was the first ever lipstick I got through back to mac.
I love your videos! This made me want to go dig up my original naked palette lol such a throwback!
HOORAAYY FOR NEW UPLOADDD! loveee u jamieee! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
GIRL WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE NAILS DONE? SOOO GOOD
Back in 1997 and 1998, my go to everyday foundation was Max Factor stick Foundation! I honestly forgot about it until a few months ago that I saw it at Wal-Mart lol! That stuff was very full coverage! I might try it out again sometime! 😊
Omg yes. Panstick
Marcia Hindman, YES MAM! 😆
Yesssss do more naked palette looks! Everyone has been bagging it lately😔
That lip colour looks beautiful on you!
🔥🔥🔥🔥 I love waking up to a new video from you!! It's the best😊
Funny thing..... I've had and loved Rebel for about 5 years and one of the things I love the most is that it's NOT super pigmented. You can still wear a bold lip (as a 27 yr old woman) without it looking scary. It's a very unique shade and formula.
I still use like half the products you used to use today 😂
pinkii06 agreed! I've been using the UD primer potion and the porefessional. I did recently go back to the original Naked palette and I forgot how easy the shadows are to blend. I've been using it again daily for work.
I did the exact same thing with the light sparkly shade in Naked 3!
I love this look on you!! Especially the dark lip. 😊 XX
Sorry I keep commenting asking about your editing skillz lol but your transitions are goals. Could you do a video talking about your editing process? Thanks!! xx
Thsnks for being my workout buddy! Made that last part of cardio fly fly💯👌👊😍
Just discovered your channel recently and I'm loving it! Looking forward to more videos from you!
Your going to get a million subs in no time
Throwback Foundation for me was the maybelline dream cushion mousse:)
Your skin looks so good!!
Those lashes are insaneeee
Much love! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This was a great video. You definitely should start using these products again, they look great on you
Snapchat fam
I love Rockateur... loved your reaction when you put it on.. lol
Holy moly just first impression haven't actually watched the entire video yet. That lip color is fabulous!
Oh gosh! I completely forgot about Mac rebel!!!
right?! such a classic
