It’s funny how IKEA everywhere looks the same! Also the Dala horse is a symbol of good luck in Sweden which might be why there was a few designs with it on.
They have changed the ones in the UK. The food shop was huge but is now teeny tiny with little choice, and the food court had all tables n chairs removed so it's just bar counters to stand at. No more meals just hotdogs etc. Can't even get meatballs with gravy. It's a disgrace.
watch your video before go to sleep. thankyou for reminder me to made myself happy or loving myself at the end of the video. i will, thankyou linna.. as a new housewifes its kinda hard. being financial planner, a mom, a chef in the house yeah i cant threat myself better after being a mom because its to tired for me. but somehow, watch your video make me believe i can do it again.. do skincare again. eat, buy, do what i love again. thankyou once more❤ i hope you and fam have a happyday..
I love the fact that food in Asia is served in so many little elegant plates. Completely different from Europe where everything goes in the same plate.
The turn table is called lazy Susan 😆 bottles with cork lids. I keep things like lentils and rice etc they look really pretty on the kitchen shelves, and you can see how much you got left. I always have fun in Ikea 😃
Every now and then I just have to have breakfast at IKEA - because it feels like an airplane breakfast, which was always the best part of the trip back home as it meant you were nearly there - and it tasted so good after such a long trip - Canada to Australia or vice versa. LOVE your videos Lina - it's travel from the ease and comfort of my home but you give me great ideas - especially with your food which is healthy, achievable and elegant - and you make it look so easy! You've been inspiring me to pay more attention to presenting our food and it's really such a little thing in the scheme of things, but it brings real pleasure to one's day. Hugs from Sydney!
Love those new long oval plates, food looked elegant on them. I wished you got to go to the food section of IKEA too! Maybe another video, it would be so interesting! Thanks again, Linna
IKEA looks so similar everywhere you go, doesn't it? Walking out into the warehouse section, I could almost smell the wood and flat packs from our local store 😂
Hallo Linna, es ist immer wieder schön, bei deiner Einkaufstour dabeisein zu dürfen. Es ist einfach wunderbar, wie du deine Familie mit leckerem Essen verwöhnst. ❤
IKEA is so fun! I almost had a panic attack the first time I went though because it was so big and I was so hungry by time we were done haha The clock you didn't get, with the polka dot numbers, is the one I have in my home office! 😂🤩 Thank you for showing us the dishes you enjoy!! 😍😋💛
I think we had the same experience! That’s why I learned the lesson not to go into the display zone! Even the market place is big enough to get exhausted 😂
Thank you so much for letting us visit. Loved your IKEA outfit, really suited you. Love fish and chips, obviously, I'm English 😂, but, at IKEA it has to be meatballs, mash, gravy and Lingonberry sauce. I always like to visit the mart in store too. Like one of your other subs, I could not have eaten the mackerel soup. I always like really crispy batter, my mother made the best batter that stayed crunchy even when cold. One of the best batter recipes I have used is just flour, pinch salt and ice cold soda water. Thanksagain ❤❤👋👋👵🏴
They are changing the UK ones. No more meatballs etc just hotdogs and such as removing all tables n chairs just counter bars to stand at. The food shops are being made tiny with hardly any choice now. It's terrible!
@LinnainJapan The batter recipe is one of many my mum was famous for and she never passed on her recipes before she died. A cheese tart recipe, loved by all who ate them, I managed to recreate. It was trial and error for many years 😆. Thank you Linna you are a calming gift.😅😅👵🏴
I have found that buying better quality towels in the long run, is better value for the money. They last longer and keep absorbing for much longer. Don’t have to replace as often as cheaper ones. Here in USA, I change bath towels every day, face towels every other day, sheets every week. As a result, I always have a lot of laundry to do.
Uk ikea you would be very lucky to get those portions sizes. My son loves the meat balls so much I order two. My husband then have the mash and peas 😂 I just have a coffee
I am so silly because I always wave back. I like cold soups like cucumber and tomato. However, I am not a big mackerel fan. But I am happy your family enjoys the foods you like and make for them.
I’d be excited about going to IKEA too 😂 I love you took us along. I loved seeing everything. I’d probably be in there for hours 😅 That’s amazing they have a bus that’s specifically for IKEA. You should’ve gotten the bigger tray 😉 Chicken looked awesome 😋 But I’ll admit the soup didn’t look appetizing but as long as it tasted good that’s what matters 😂
I need to go to Ikea next week for a new bed. So I have to go through the whole display section. In the market place I always gind too many kitchen things 😅 As we need to get a new kitchen I'm trying to to buy too much now as I'm not sure what the layout of teh kitchen will be. I have a strainer like that but it is less convenient then I thought. I don't want to put it in my sink all the time and it's bulky to store in a cupboard. I think the smaller of the wooden trays is better, the big one is too big, both for serving and for storing. I'm looking this back after getting home from Tokyo and I alrady miss the Japanese supermarkets. Quality is better and I was shocked how much prices have risen in the litte over 2 weeks we've been in Japan. 1 serving of the vacuum packed udon here used to be 99 euro cents, it had already been increased to 1,19 and now it's 1,49 euros 😱 For one meal for my family this 715 yen now to buy just the noodles.... It's always been expensive to cook Japanese here but this is too much😢 I use both the pickles and raw onions in the tartar sauce. It's also great with the shiba zuke chopped up instead of the cucumber pickles.
Ciao Linna!
Even though the IKEA meal is Swedish, it looks so American. I have had the same meal near me in Chicago. It’s average at best. The mango dessert looked great! Thanks for sharing Linna 😅
Well, fish & chips is not Swedish food, it's British. 😁 There's also like couscous and stuff, at least in our Ikea (I'm Nordic myself), so I guess they're going for a more "global choice" instead of just Swedish/Nordic foods. Fish & chips might not be the most exciting meal but I guess these kinds of "neutral foods" are suitable for the masses of families with kids who visit places like this.
ahhh your videos are so relaxing its so comforting to watch them, Im from poland but my dream is to live in Japan, well i worry about the problem with language but im very good at english so i guess its okay, i would love to live in Tokyo my dream! @@LinnainJapanNow I really want a trip to IKEA but it is so bad for me because I suddenly see so many things I “need” 🤭 😂

Oh I see! I only thought of the round table at Chinese restaurants 😅 it’s so useful to place seasoning 👍
I love IKEA! There’s one near me in the US and we love going shopping and eating lunch there 😊

Yay, organizing is back!
The carts in Europe are like that, we don't really have small carts in big supermarkets, but in mini markets we have the small handy ones
You got fish and chips! A great British dish..🇬🇧😊

Yes! It’s almost like cold cucumber soup in Miso taste!
The mackerel had no fishy flavor because it’s canned 😀

IKEA has nice stuff 😊
Why are you not buying a rolling cart to carry your groceries more comfortably!
If the boys love the cold soup then it has to be good dispite meny hate makrell
The can mackerel has no strong mackerel taste so it’s easy to eat for them 👍☺️
