Hello. I can confirm that the usb 2 cable also works fine. use usb 3 plug on the box and usb 2 on your computer. Can anyone confirm this is an update and bug fixes? I remember that the version number was the same as the one that was already installed when I bought the X96 AIR V2. Can't remember 100%. So I installing this update. Update is from 2020 and for many X96 AIR owners not an update. I have had major problems with the nice included launcher app. And several bluetooth keyboards that I can connect and enter bluetooth connection passwords do not work. But work on my phone and my computer. I think the box has a white list in the same way that some laptops only work with some wifi cards.
This video is intended to show how to flash a compatible firmware to an android box. The firmware you'll get really depends on how thorough you search the internet. If you are lucky, you might get a custom rom that comes with an updated version of android. It's a sort of a trial and error thing.

Hi, I did not provide a link to any rom as there are over a hundred (or even thousand) of roms available in the internet depending on the type of chipset you have. It will be the owner's responsibilty to search for a compatible rom for his android box. I have shown one way how to do it.

If you have a version with less RAM and storage, you have one. do you have 4gb memory and 64gb storage then you have another? You must also check if you have hardware v2 of this box! unfortunately, I don't think these android boxers will get that many updates that correct errors and instability. last update I know of is from 2020 which was shown in the video. included Androud v9 has specially made settings with resolution settings and launcher. you can lose this if you are lucky enough to find a custom android that belongs to it x96 air. I have not found a way yet to manually unroot RK3228A boxes. The only way I have unrooted them is by flashing a firmware that is already rooted.
