I just can’t get enough of Sydnie. When I first heard her months ago I was hoping and praying she would do this song. Love it. Merry Christmas brother.
Sydnie sings this ethereal song with just the right balance of power and restraint, and with exquisite control of vibrato. I shall play it incessantly as Christmas approaches, and drown myself in it repeatedly.
Sydnie is a gift from God and I am so grateful I am still alive to be Mesmerized by her talent and beauty. I can't stop playing her videos over and over again and I still get so emotional hearing her sing. Love you so much Sydnie !💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Simply a stunning version of that classic christmas song. As they say, she could sing the phonebook and make it look gorgeous. Perhaps the best female singer i've heard in a very long time. She makes me often think of one of my fellow belgian artist that had that kind of bubbly and really down to earth personality, and sang not only hilarious songs (Tata Yoyo, La bonne du curé, chaud cacao...) 8:10 but also played in several musicals and movies with the likes of André Dassary and Luis Mariano, very well known in my country and adulated in France where she started as a 'meneuse de revue' in cabarets before being really noticed. Her name was Annie Cordy. The best of her was in 'la route fleurie' with Dassary and in 'le chanteur de Mexico' with Luis Mariano and André Bourvil (who was not only an incredible comic actor but also a good singer who lefr us way too soon). She was still singing and performing even at age 80 and even later and lived nearly to be 100 years old. Greetings from Liege, Belgium.
Sydnie lifts our spirits to heaven with this song, bringing her personal, English faith to song, with subdued, gracious tones, even with a sense of reverence, presenting her offering to his holy name.
Sydnie seems to have the ability to embody what ever she sings. This song is no exception. Even though O Holy Night was written years ago..in 1847, she sings it with conviction. I would normally say (if this was the first time hearing her) that it's easy to sing this Christmas song with great wonder about Jesus. But this isn't my first time hearing her. No matter what she sings she gives the words of each song life, Ie.. Tomorrow, My Way, or Some Where. She is a true expert at conveying emotion and feeling, not to mention exceptional voice control and voice range.
I hope she will release another song MV from album in soon. But Sydnie will very busy from now to New Year (events every weekend!), like today she has invited by David Foster to perform in his 75th Birthday Concert at Hollywood Bowl, L.A. I'm so exited with her and waiting for clips or listen which or how many songs that she will sing in this evening.
At this time, here in the USA, we need to be uplifted from what may be coming our way. Our future is uncertain. Thank you Sydnie, you are our angel of mercy.
I am on my knees. I have heard an angel's voice. Merry Mary Christmas everybody; It's never too early to praise His Holy Name. I think you may wear out that CD, and we love it.
Yes, a fitting, moving reaction here; Robin, you may have found his reaction to Dream the Impossible Dream by now, for he did do it some days ago, as well: it's my joint favourite with this one of the end of her album.
@@robinabbott5653 Yes, Robin: Sydnie is awesome with any and every song she sings: the moody and the up beat ones, while the religious songs she makes spiritual, too - a bias of mine. Now we have her clips from behind the scenes at the Royal Albert Hall, too!
For me this comes second only to Celine Dion’s version, which for me is truly sublime, for a male vocal it has to be David Phelps, you should definitely check out both 👍🏻
Please react to "Bill and Gloria Gaither -O Holy Night (Live) ft David Phelps". It is nicknamed the Green Sweater Edition because that is what David is wearing. You won't be sorry!
I'm 80 years old and have watched/heard 100's of versions of this song. Many, like this one by Sydney, are really good. For me, none have reached the level of the version you recommend. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/ElJ0fiD0lkc/v-deo.html
I kind of hesitate to say this because I am one of her biggest fans since her golden buzzer… but following her… I know the power of her voice and honestly… I kind of expected more with this song. 😟 voice still beautiful but I have heard more powerful versions
I urge you to relisten with fresh ears. It's not all about power, it's also about control and vibrato and Syd has that sort of control of her voice that other singers can only dream of. 🥰
I think she does a masterful job staying within the song and keeping the power and control within bounds. Too much more belting or sheer volume would have turned the song into something else - something less, in my opinion.
Holy Night is not a Broadway or West End song. It's an intimate song, but even so, thanks to the choir, it allowed Sydnie Christmas to show off some of her vocal skills. But without exaggerating and respecting the objective of the song. Obviously IMO.
I just can’t get enough of Sydnie. When I first heard her months ago I was hoping and praying she would do this song. Love it. Merry Christmas brother.
So proud of this bubbly lady from my little village in Kent, she really is a superstar with such a lovely personality
Send her to the USA
This woman when she sings not only knocks it out of the ballpark she knocks it into orbit

I love how she starts gently and builds up and doesn't over do the power in her voice, this song should have some gentleness in it.
It’s wonderful to watch when someone’s soul is being touched.
😂👌gee! You’re such a “genteel tough guy” & especially, a “thoughtfully devoted Daddy” with your reaction & comments! Am so impressed!!!😅❤
Incredible, my favorite Christmas song just got better. Thank you Sydnie❤
She nailed it. She nails what she feels! My first time hearing her sing this one. Incredible. Her power and range astound me.

She sings this like she believes it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Indeed she does, for she does, as you did say.❤❤❤

👍Beautiful. Always down for an awesome Christmas carol. Great reaction. 🖖❤
Tears goosebumps and love
BD I love your Sydnie reactions, so genuine. I know she was in the US yesterday performing at the Hollywood Bowl for David Foster's 75th
It’s on YT. She crushed My Way in a great red dress.

And she even had her playful moment when she entered the stage! Incorrigible!
Sydnie is the Voice!! Great reaction
What a passionate singer. Outstanding.
Wow!
Voices like hers don't come along very often. She's touching everyone's soul that listens to her.
Great job. She has one of the greatest voices. I pray that she releases more of her music. Please check out Pentatonic’s version of O Holy Night.
At this time, here in the USA, we need to be uplifted from what may be coming our way. Our future is uncertain. Thank you Sydnie, you are our angel of mercy.
It's Christmas every time I hear Sydnie Christmas' voice! 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄 🎄
She be not just good . She be really good.

Oh yes, she puts her heart and faith in to this Christmas song of praise, so true.
I'm terrified of his voice because she's different from everyone else when she sings, I feel all the lyrics inside me 🥰
Tommy Johansson sings this in Swedish, O helga natt. It's beautiful. It's the song that opened the Tommy rabbit hole for me.
Love Sydnie Christmas and your reaction to this beautiful song. Please react to Pentatonix O Holy Night also.
Imagine this... Sydnie Christmas belting out the song "It is Well with my Soul". Dude!!!!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have the album it’s great. She used to be mine. Great.
😢
Check out the song believer on Sydney's album

Sung and played how it should have
Great reaction. Please do Sydnie singing To Dream the Impossible Dream and Believer.
I think Believer is becoming my favorite! ❤️

That was beautiful if you want to hear a metal version listen to danvasc ❤
Please check out Lindsey Stirling's cover of 'O Holy Night .' Trust me, this is a must see version
She's good, but the best version that always gets me is by Celine Dion
