Hey chicks and dudes. In January, I will be uploading some brand new house mixes. The mixes will include another Hed Kandi mix and a Deep House mix, and also as a bonus, a Stephanie Cooke mix, and a Back To Love mix. The mixes will have songs like the ones in this mix, soulful deep house music and the Hed Kandi mix will be in the classic original Hed Kandi style. I realize that Hed Kandi Records style of music is changing, so I'm working on trying to stay with their original style of music. I do believe Mark Doyle no longer compiles the music since he started compiling for Fierce Angel Records, so that may be one of the reasons for the change in the newer compilations and Artists with Hed Kandi Records, but luckily some of the original artists are still around. Thanks everyone who subscribed! and if you haven't, please do because it'll keep me informed that there are still listeners out there and true House Fans and I'll be able to keep producing mixes. I also apologize that I haven't gotten back to you as much as I should have.
You're very welcome! Hed Kandi has seemed to have changed since Mark Doyle left. This album however is one of the few that still has that soulful, deep house that the older beach house albums had and I wanted to place tracks in this mix that still had that original house vibe.When I bought this album, I wasso happy that it kept that. I've noticed that the 2nd disc in the set contains some songs from the Disco kandi cds, which those also some great deeper house but I'm glad you enjoyed this mix.
So since 2000 eh? Well everything that's good gets mainstreamed, that's what people call good is something everyone can enjoy! Point is, there's a lot of great music out there, and I'm sure that the artists who are on these comps are happy that more people can hear their music. Which is the real point, not making money, not cashing in, but entertaining people and putting smiles on their faces and most of all MAKIN EM DANCE!

I agree the the head kandi stereo sushi were fantastic and were that little bit more edgy than the traditional head kandi CD'S ..all in all though back in the day head kandi was the dogs bollocks as far as house music was concerned...
but everyone does not have good taste in house music, and deep house and soulful house is not always about making a bunch of drunk people at some large club dance. hed kandi has now become the mcdonalds of house music . like a few healthy items on the menu hed kandi only has a small handful of decent tracks these days. early hed kandi was what us more seasoned house music lovers were looking for - labels like naked music, cafe solaire, early bargrooves, the stereo sushi series....

it is clear you're not a true deep house head. the style and selection of tracks is gone down hill. what made hed kandi great was the introduction of unheard bands and house music for the adult. it sold out. that's not a sin. but us old school hed kandi fans aren't impressed. that is ok too. nothing can touch deeper, the first 6 beach house cd's, and oh yes early stereo sushi!!!

as much as hed kandi has sold out and burned out in terms of good house music this beach house cd was a treat of new and old! nice mixing btw!
