Hi I love your videos and really appreciate the detail you capture. I have This same model (Dormeyer 4201) in great shape and just recently started to work on it. I had it plugged into an outlet and the switch is off but it started smoking. Is there a resister inside that might have failed? Thanks for your help.

What year is it? I just purchased one that works with beaters an bows for 7.50.did I go wrong?
