It was looking quite interesting until you pulled out the glue gun.
This way to attach the zipper is actually really smart. If you don't wanna use hot glue, just use a hand sewn blind stitch to attach the flap in the end.
Really disappointed that you used glue at the end.

Eigentlich ganz schöne Idee, aber warum um Gottes Willen die Heißklebepistole? Da macht man sich die Arbeit alles vor dem Nähen noch per Hand zu heften und für den Rest muss dann der Kleber her? Schade🤨
No interfacing and you stitched all that way just to ruin it at the end with hot glue???
You had me right up until you pulled the hot glue gun out! Why ruin your make with something that will fail? I'd line with interfacing so the bag holds its structure and extend the base section so the end 10x10cm piece isn't separate, then hand sew the edges of that piece. Easy to make an end for the zipper too with the sewing machine, it'll hold up for longer and look more finished.

Very clever but not sure if I like the use of the glue gun as the final attachment. Had to mute the sound.
It was a great bag and I wish you provided at the beginning video with the pieces needed and the amount of fabric needed. Plus I am also with the others that the glue gun was not ideal. But thanks for the video.

Il modello è bello. Non riesco a capire perché prepari le singole parti e poi le unisci. Non sarebbe più logico cucire l'esterno e la fodera, e poi assemblare il tutto? Una delle funzioni della fodera é quella di nascondere le cuciture. Foderare le singole parti e poi cucirle vanifica parte dello sforzo. Almeno nel fondo, io metterei un rinforzo.

Such a shame about the glue gun. Lovely bag and work until then. There must be a way to sew it instead.
You can sew the front 10x10 thing to the interfacing before sewing the zipper to interfacing and outer material. So you don't have a seam line. Then go on with the rest of this tutorial
Or maybe hand sew it onto the lining so the stitches aren't visible from the outside
@@Occupatio why cant you just make that bottom one long piece so there are no seams wouldn't that make more sense , then yes like someone suggested even hand sew that onto the sides so you don't see a seam but never use hot glue lol

i loved this project until the end where you used a glue gun , WHAT why would you use a glue gun instead of sewing. that totally defeats the purpose of a nice sewn bag. oh man what a disappointment
Кошмар какой-то.... Шили-шили, и нА тебе - клеевой пистолет! Да и пошито все спустя рукава - неаккуратно, на глаз, как попало, без уплотнителя. В общем, остается только удивляться, как они набрали столько подписчиков...

Why all the hand sewing? Just clip or pin it in place. It’s a no for me on the hot glue too
